Right , lol l that’s a bunch of crap . Sometimes it’s fun if it’s not an electronics problem or having to disassemble the whole RC for 3 diffs . Some cars it’s just better to get another

No RC reviewers ever talk about 'feel'. I grew up racing competitively and feel is where 90% of the enjoyment comes from for me even with bashers. Arrma's have the best feel of any basher out there. Most other brands have literally zero feel whatsoever, so that driving them is no different than just watching someone else drive them. If I can't make the car do exactly what I want it to, when I want it to, I'm not driving it. Typhon is one of Arrma's best. 👍

I have this one, the 3S version, and the Kraton 6S V5. I was a Traxxas guy until these three RCs. Put an EXB bumper on the two 6S's and some motor fans and let'm fly. The Typhon is perfectly at home jumping and bashing with a good bumper for sure. That 3S will shock you too. I got it going 44 mph. I found out the other day that the 6S Typhon will run on 3S no problem and is still nasty fast. I clocked my Typhon 6S at 63 MPH with the optional gear in the rain. I was running an 80C battery. I'll do it again with some 100C's when they arrive soon. I love how genuine your content is. You make me laugh when you laugh. lol. Keep it up bro. Oh, and bump that punch up to max and it will correct in the air just fine. Mine will do backflips.
@loum70083 жыл бұрын
This was a fun video!!! I had the same reaction to the V5. I did want the upgrades so this is a good time to buy. No mods needed. A couple tips. On higher speed runs turn down the steering rate on the transmitter and it is very controllable. As you know, use the right tire for the task. Some GRP GT or Hoon tires work great on the street. AKA buggy tires will make the most of it on the track. Take a look at Modelflight RC for suspension setup. Note that our shock pistons are different than the V4. I put in heavier shock oil to get the bounce out of it. 45w front and 40wt rear. I may go 45w front and rear which is just slightly heavier than stock but made a huge difference. This thing is a flier. If you push it I'm confident it will jump right out on your yard 😃 . Have a great day!

I have been with you since your first Revo when I bought mine. I have never seen you so giddy over a car ever! Congrats, I only run Arrma and Associated now (gave the revo to my Step-Son), and my Notorious & Kraton are my favorites. If you think getting a Kraton is too much like your Revo to justify it, you'll be shocked at how different they drive. Also once in the Arrma system the parts compatibility is so nice that you'll spend less keeping them up. 💪👊

I did change out the terrible radio and receiver to a DumboRC for about $30-40 and new bearings, but the BLX ESC and motor are top notch, no problems whatsoever, hell even the supposed crappy Arrma steering servo is solid. I'm not a fan of the look of this one personally, but holy cow are you having fun. I feel like your excitement in this video is the same as mine was when I got my Super Rock Rey. Oddly enough, I was more excited about my SRR than I was with my 1/5th scale. My 1/5th scale is even my favorite RC, but still wasn't as excited as I was when I got my SRR. Might have something to do with the look and/or power of it. My Losi 5ive T is what I expected it to be, a crazy big and powerful RC and it doesn't disappoint. The SRR is more than I expected it to be from the pictures and videos. Your experience with your new RC car is definitely coming through on video. 😊

But after buying a Typhon 6s for over 1k canadien $ with the battery and charger mostly because of your videos im not gonna just try to break it lol. Its fun enough just driving this thing, going off road and doing some jumps, no need to send it half a football field down range. Who has the money the rebuild this thing everytime you go out? And yeah, this rc is absolutely amazing, i went from a ruckus 1/18th 25mph i bougth to play with my nephew to this MONSTER. JFC this thing is fast.

The Typhon 3s was my first Arrma and after owning the Kraton 6s and learning Arrma products if they would just put metal driveshafts and shocks it would be perfect. Those Typhon plastic driveshafts and shocks are the worst. So many times I had a rock in the back and tore them apart so I buy 3-4 sets of driveshafts at a time cuz I know I'll need them and the shocks too. Watching your video talked me into just getting the Typhon 6s V5 now. Absolutely. I don't try to tear mine up. I got the Axial Gladiator, and a friend was trying to tell me just punch it to get up over lava rocks. I have a good feeling of what it can and can't do, and if you push them, then you'll break them, and not to mention you'll tear up the body. He broke his, and punched a hole in his body when he went over a cliff. These RCs cost way too much to just take them to their limit. Some people on KZbin get paid by KZbin to tear them up.
