Thanks. One of the best scooters. I’ve tried. I prefer the classic / retro ones. But this would definitely make my shortlist if I was looking for a more modern look.

When I was doing my training for my test I kept on leaving my fingers on the brake levers....instructor kept threatening me he would cut them off 😅. Not so keen on step through myself (preference thing) but that looks way, way nicer than the likes of the Burgman 125EX and totally on the money.

Now that’s weird. I was always taught to leave my fingers on the break levers. How times change and teaching changes. It’s a habit I will keep. Always ready for an emergency stop 👍

It’s the same for every bike / scooter in the UK. It’s what the DVLA charge for registering with them. I think is around £299

The evo seems to have a 2 stroke engine and the standard jet 14 seems to have a 4 stroke engine. (Based on details on the sym website) Whats the difference and do you need to add oil to the 2 stroke evo when you fill up on petrol?? Great video mate.

With a 2 stroke yes you have to add oil, however I’m pretty sure only the 4 strokes are in the uk.

I bought it and it leaks coolant now it has 540km.... There is a chance that they had more coolant than needed and it overspills from overfill other than that its a great commuter. Do you think it can make long distances? 100 km +?

I would always go for a sym. From speaking to the mechanics at In2moto they rave about them. Really reliable machines.

These jet 14's are brilliant reliable little bikes. Mine is an older model in 50cc which has been de-restricted it gets me around every day without hassle and goes about 40mph.

I use e5. May as well use the better fuel when you've got a vehicle this efficient and the cost difference between them will be small.
