Agree. If Ford sells this in Canada (and USA too) I would have gotten this over MK8 GTI. I love hatchbacks and much prefer it over sedan and much prefer both over an suv.

I heard the wheelbase is a little longer than my Mark 3. That would make make for better foot room in the rear seat which is embarrassingly small for adults in mine. Wish they had sent the Estate model to the US.

I miss my Focus ST, they have great character and a genuine feeling of what the front and rear end are doing when on the limit. Refreshing as most cars are becoming numb.

@@light.mmichael5367 I got a BMW M140i which I nearly cried when I sold lol was such a weapon of a car, incredibly exciting to drive each day. It done 0-100 in 4.6 seconds and sounded epic with an exhaust upgrade. I may get a 340i soon to get that glorious B58 engine again

why they make it an auto, and how does it have a 2.3 like the old rs and pushing under 300hp

They dropped the power on the Focus MK4 ST purely because of the issues the 2.3L engine has. Focus RS MK3 has some LSPI and knock issues under WOT, reducing power output will help with that as it will retard the engine's timing so it stands a much lower chance of LSPI (which can = engine exploding). I will stick with MK3 or MK2 Focus ST to be honest, shorter wheelbase, not as wide as the MK4 and MANUAL GEARBOX! All the issues with these cars are known and have a very strong and high quality aftermarket.

Has a smaller turbo and different cooling setup. These engines can handle way more power with very little upgrades and still be very reliable. The ecoboost Mustang and MK3 Focus RS (after the initial head gasket problems, caused by wrong gaskets being used) both are very reliable engine-wise.

@@cy9nvs If pushed too hard in high gears they can LSPI or even blow the engine. The 1L and 2L ecoboom engines are the same, it's part the reason I'm careful with the power application in my MK3 ST.

This is the last chance to buy a normal car with a normal engine with this EU madness.
