I bought your self-titled when I was 14 on a trip with a friend. I had never heard a note from you guys. I just had a feeling about it. The album cost me ten bucks, which is a fortune to a young teenager. We put it on and that jamming intro let out and then came the vocals.... and I was a really young kid so my exposure to things was limited. It was so intense. Like heavy in its themes of young love, poppy-sounding because of the vocals yet intense with that driving rhythm guitar. I was blown away. I had just never heard anything like it. That whole album was thematic to my jhs and hs experience. I'm 35 now and I still jam out to you guys when I feel happy and nostalgic. A funny aside, I didn't see one of your music videos until college in the mid-2000s when I had a laptop and internet for the first time. So that was like rediscovering NFG. Anyway, thank you guys. Your music means a lot to people.
