Alongside this video, we created a shirt to help spread awareness about Chad’s rare cancer, Pheochromocytoma. Not only will a portion of the proceeds be donated to the Pheo Para Alliance but just wearing the shirt itself helps spread the message! Please share this video and this shirt if you purchase it at newfoundglorystuff.com! We thank you for your support, as do so many others that have struggled with this illness or have lost loved ones to it. Just learning the name of this disease is a big step for the community. Thank you all!

This year was I diagnosed with a rare disorder that creates tumors in my lymph nodes. I had surgery in May to get the biggest one removed in my neck and it’s been so mentally, physically, emotionally draining to battle all the doctor appointments, losing my job, everything has been so hard. I’ve wanted to give up so many times in the last few months. When Chad talked about his battle on stage last night in Seattle, I broke down. I was bawling. I needed to hear him say to keep going and to keep living. Now I’m crying writing this. Thank you sharing your story. Last night meant so much to me 💕

I am in no way a cancer patient, but I do feel your pain, Chad! I've been listening to you guys since around 2002ish. I still slam you guys through my ears at least once a day. On April 10th I was involved in a very very traumatic car accident. I ended up breaking my back, fused back together spine, broken ribs, broken sternum, tibia/fibula open fracture, shattered left ankle and compound fractured my right. I feel your pain. Again, I'm in no way on the cancer side of things. I feel for you. Please get well soon and do not rush shit. Listen to your Dr's and surgeons. Follow orders. I wanna see ya out on the road again soon. All the best to you, Jordan, Ian and Cyrus. Love you guys and always will. Godspeed 🤘🏼🤙🏼🎸❤️💛💚

Saw NFG/Chad in June in NYC, I almost didn't go to the show because of anxiety, and he gave a speech during the show about forgetting that, and living in the moment that was just great, I ended up really outside my box that night. I knew I made the right choice to go to the show by myself in an unfamiliar part of NYC. Then they added a show in Philly, Chad couldn't make it and Dan took over for him, and they facetimed Chad who counted them into the last few songs. It was also the most inspiring count down ever. NFG will continue to be my safety blanket as long as it is yours.

To say Chad's story resonates with me is an understatement (pun intended). My brother, Mitch and I have been huge fans for the longest time. I remember him driving me to school in 7th grade and jamming to At Least I'm Known For Something every morning. You guys were his absolute favorite and helped him in so many ways! in 2018, he got diagnosed with a rare liver cancer called Fibrolamellar. He fought for three years before passing away a day after his 27th birthday in 2021. I played Sonny at his funeral. Mitch would be so amazed and inspired by everything Chad has went through. I wish he could see it himself. 💚 Thank you guys for everything you do. You help me keep him alive.

I'm sending all positive vibes and well-wishes to you for your complete healing and recovery, Chad - along with support for your wife, children, close friends, and the entire band. I lost my mom to a rare cancer last year, and your music has been there for me throughout my journey of grief. I can't wait to hear the whole Make The Most of It album, and hopefully see you somewhere in the world soon.
