Thank you…fancy nails aren’t the norm for me and it has been fun. I like those two inks as well…It will be interesting to see what will work best overall with this new pen. Can you suggest other colors I might like to try?

I love the Wearingeul Old Man and the Sea! I have one Opus 88, but it has a stub nib. Congrats on the new pen! All of the inks are nice except for the very light ink; I personally prefer more saturated colors.

I have found the same to be true for me overall…I like the saturated colors. Oftentimes I will use the lighter colors to make a color border around the edges of my notebook pages, or to fill in the number dates I stencil on each new day.

Nice pen! I'm an Opus 88 fan. Accordingly, here is some probably useless information. The following Opus 88 pen families use the Bock No. 250 (#6) nib units: Bela, Flora, Flow, and Opera. The following Opus 88 pen families use the Jowo No. 6 nib units: Demonstrator, Omar, Jazz, Heart Sutra, and Sonata. The Jowo and Bock screw-in nib units are not interchangeable. (However, I don't know if the extracted bare metal nibs can be interchanged between Jowo and Bock collars.)

@@gailsbookishthings5191 I have all 3 Bela models (red, blue, green), 2 Demonstrators (clear), a Stilo & Stile 'special edition' Demonstrator (clear with green swirls), a Jazz Transparent, a Jazz Holiday, and an Omar. All were purchased with medium nibs, but I also bought separately the Opus 88-branded fine and broad nib units from both Jowo and Bock. (I don't have any Opus 88s with #5 nibs, e.g., Koloro.) My favorite form factor is the Bela because of its girth and shape. I wish that Opus 88 had issued a clear version of this model. Cheers! 😊
