Great Video, I am interested with your chin camera mount looks fit right to the helmet.
@RidingThruLife6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. The chin mount is from ProBike3D. So far so good, though the glue on the tape seems to be loosening a bit but the zip tie is holding it steady.

Interesting with the mips creaking my new speedframe pro is so quiet when move it around on my head ive never heard that before! But yeah that would drive you nuts! Mine is Clear black mips cage

I have 2 Speedframe Pro's as well and have no issues with them at all. Love them.
@Emtbtoday2 ай бұрын
My speedframe pro came with Medium thickness pads, tbh i only noticed the M on them today when washing them, so looking for Larger thickness i get that with mine it tilts forward alot even when Fox like BOA is tightened up! I've dropped it lower to the head aswell to get a snugger fit but love it when riding just when your head heats up with riding it seems to loosen abit which is odd I'd expect that from being cold.
@RidingThruLife2 ай бұрын
Interesting. I notice I need to tighten my Speedframe Pro more when I have worn it for quite a while without washing the pads and they get a bit packed down. Usually I wash them and they puff up a bit and then I start the process over . lol

My first full face was a proframe. The lightweight super vented was awesome especially on the hotter days of park riding. But as I started getting better and riding more intense stuff I began to, and still wonder, how safe are these versus a dedicated dh helmet. I know they say they are dh certified but how do they stack up to a standard dh helmet?
@RidingThruLife7 ай бұрын
Totally, I think a dedicated DH helmet is probably safer. I don't know how much safer, and what the different certs might be, but a DH helmet feels "safer" Once you start hitting Bike Park flow trail speeds I would want one on most of the time. I think for me, I wear a half shell for all of my riding outside of the park so why not have a little more protection? I am never going to peddle in a DH full face and the Proframe offers more protection than a half shell so why not? If you can handle peddling in them. lol I guess it's up to the user to decide if they trust it enough to be an "everything" helmet or have a DH helmet too.

I have a pro frame RS that I purchased when they first came out. It started creaking after 2 months of riding and its unbearable. Is this an updated Proframe RS?
@RidingThruLife7 ай бұрын
Hey Hanslomo, I feel your pain, that creaking is the death of the helmet for me. I am not sure if it is an updated one, I am unaware if they changed the RS MIPS system, as all the RS ones I have seen have been the Integra System but they might have changed it. That's not to say it won't start creaking. I have only been riding my RS for a 3/4 weeks but so far so good. Which MIPS system do you have in it? I will definitely update if it does start creaking.
@hanslomo54317 ай бұрын
@@RidingThruLife I have the Proframe RS w/ MIPS integra split…. it is the loudest creaking helmet I have ever had. Even louder than the original pro frame.

I will stay tuned to see if yours creaks. If they have solved the issue it would be the best news.

i bought it some weeks ago (the red version at 1:20), i found it not comfortable :/ too bad, it's a rly beautiful helmet.

That sucks!! Is it the fit, weight or the "BOA Harness" that makes it uncomfortable, or something else?
@SylvainProov3 ай бұрын
@@RidingThruLife the new Mips Integra system feels weird, really "floating", the helmet is moving, even with the BOA tightened. I didn't feel so secure with it. I tried the L (my head size is 60cm). Maybe i should have tried the M size actually... hmmm i'm not sure now, i'll try tomorrow a M size to be sure :D
@RidingThruLife3 ай бұрын
Thats interesting. I haven't really noticed but I think that is probably because most of my rides in it have been with goggles and maybe they hide a bit of that float. I totally get what you are saying. Ill feel for it next ride.

How is RS different from regular ProFrame?
@RidingThruLife4 ай бұрын
Hey, there are a few differences. The MIPS systems are totally different, the RS has what they call the Integra Split which is built into the shell of the helmet while the regular has the Evolve Core system. The RS has the BOA dial fit system while the Regular uses different pad sizes for fit. RS has an anti-microbial liner. The RS also seems to have more certifications than the regular. RS is also heavier. Probably forgetting some but those are the main differences. Thanks for the question!

I cant seem to fit my sunglasses(prescription lenses) on the RS. Is it the same for everybody? Old Proframe XL is perfect for my 59+cm head with just the right space for thickest pads and sunglasses. Tried both M and L on the RS and still no go.

Any fox speedframe pro guys here know whare i can get the Larger Liner pads for the 2024 Model? Probably same as the previous model just finding the front slips down on forehead when descending and gets irritating! Obviously I've looked for the larger pads but no search is bringing them up just the replacement Medium Iconic + pads it come with! And the spare set is also Medium which is abit pointless

It definitely is a heavier helmet than the OG Proframe. So far I don't find it too heavy, but Ive been fighting an injury and haven't ridden with it much since the review. Ive also been using the other Proframe without the MIPS in it and loving it. Are you pedalling with it?
