Very nice setup, just 1 problem! Problem is your missing a filter roller! I installed the large bubble magus filter roller and plumbed all frag tanks into it and it work amazing! I even shut my skimmer off because it works that good! Very nice setup and great video!

I thought about it, maybe I don’t know what I am missing, but I just don’t really mind changing filters and they are so much cheaper!

@@ryanshackleton2174 it can be so many things. It is so frustrating! Always look at stability first. Did your alk move more than 1 point in a day? if it is not that, it is harder to fix. Bacterial issues and such. I will say, I find the Walt disney to be one of the more sensitive tenuis out there

Got a little anxiety rush seeing those barbed connections in the sump. Should be alright under that pressure though.

I don’t love them, but it is all I could make work. Many of you guys could do better, but not my best skill set😂. They are tight though. I have multiple zip ties around each one and I used a zip tie tightening tool to put them on. All my tanks have this and no leaks. I will put leak detection devices all around though

how do you cycle/mature the frag tanks? i see no rocks or sand so you have basically no bio filtration?

There is tons of rock and bio media in the sump. I do fishless cycle. I also purchased the reef rubble from aqua biomics. Plus this frag tank is connected to the 130 gallon tank on the other side of the wall

I do own both. The holy grail is much brighter, but it has shorter tentacles. The master is still bright, but not near as fluorescent green, and it can get the crazy long tentacles

Herby, Why are you going with a doser over a calcium reactor? I'm just curious

I had a calcium reactor running on my main system snd my ph was so low. I have so many people and animals I struggle with ph. Even with a co2 scrubber, second chamber, and a number of other things. I believe ph is important, especially with sps. Soon as I turned off calcium reactor ph went up. Never below 8 now even without a co2 scrubber. I love calcium reactors though. They are super easy to maintain. The dosetronic is pretty awesome though. It is totally automatic foe keeping dkh in range.
