Why the hell is "free" being highlighted when talking about a patch? Patches as in fixing bugs and maintenance is usually free for multiple years for any software. Now, DTG doesn't fix most bugs post release except the largest issues on anything. Since we get new versions every year the life cycle is already very short, but has the erosion of the standards DTG is held to progressed that far?

I was initially excited for the game, but my mood quickly soured. It crashed every time I used photo mode, my account didn’t transfer over, and neither did my liveries. You’d think they’d actually think of this before launching their unfinished game to the public. I’m glad I only got the free starter pack, because if they don’t fix any of this, I’m going back to TSW3.

If dovetail wanted to upgrade trains SIM world to unreal engine 5 they would need to remake ever route all over again

The best fix would be to the dovetail business model. If they are struggling to implement the game engine, maybe they should have held tsw5 back for a year and ironed out the bugs and flaws. Tsw4 is still in need of some attention, so maybe concentrating on improving last year's game .(only last year). instead of pumping out more of the same, would appease the justifiable indignation amongst the customers. I think we're getting used to the gaming market tactics, and patience pays. Sales are never too far away and I'll take my time. I have tsw4 installed and will carry on dipping into it when I'm bored with other options, maybe I'll get tsw5 when I think it's better value.

Unreal Engine 5 is very difficult from UE4, it's not as simple as changing a few lines of code. Every asset would have to be updated, every light redone. Further, the TSW version of Unreal is HEAVILY modified from base, so theyd have to restart all that

Hey! I don't have San Bernadino, but maybe they did a floating car fix and didn't put it in the changelogs because there wasn't enough changes for it? Or maybe they just forgot, idk. Maybe you should check and see if it is there.

since they removed the option to save and upload dovetail live photos i went to the menu to upload them manually it kept glitching out and out of memory crash, meanwhile i play the routes with no issue.

I have the patience to wait until the game goes on sale, just like with TSW 3 and 4 and will be waiting for 5 to go on sale. Besides I'm not missing that out on anything special... What bugs.

Had exactly the same issue with the crashing. Would try to get anywhere, and the game would just crash. Only fix they said was to update drivers but they were already newest :/

It might be that you are pushing your PC too hard. Can I suggest reduce your screen percentage a bit? Maybe 130%.

Train sim world 5 is not out for me. I live in denmark and its now 18.45 I bought standard and i just dont know whats happening

theres just over all a lot of glaring issues im not surpised ive also experienced crashes. Other thing the MP36 and a lot of the new north american stuff for TSW5 is wrong physics are not correct, sound effects are wrong for some of the brake stands for release, the mp36 brake guages show in correct readings was showing a actual metrolink engineer friend of mine the mp36 he even said a lot was wrong with it im not surpised with this coming from dovetail train sim world is not a sim its a game and a arcadey kind of game at that for train enthusiast its not meant for actual simulation.

Do not rebuy dlc. It's a known issue and the console teams are working on it
