yes, it was the right decision and they have now made a shooter card, it plays very well and it seems like there are other mods in development, be sure to try it, and also a cool skin through an AI avatar texture generator, I only saw this from them, you can make any avatar texture @VRCentral

I have a quest 1 and most games that are free that you have suggested work! Even I am cat. I tried it an completed it in a couple of days with the new update playing around 1 hour a day! So in just a couple hours spilt into a couple days, I completed it, that's because I wa confused with some of the tasks so I took a little longer but otherwise, such fun games! 🎉
