Hii, switching between characters just to use their skill/burst and immediately switch to other character again for elemental reaction is really fun in this game. For example, Amber's skill applies fire to enemies and then you immediately switch to Kaeya and use his ice skill to increase his dmg, or switch to Traveler to spread the fire with her wind skill. Playing around with the elements is going to make your experience even better 😊

Leveling up statues by offering oculis to statue increases ur stamina bar. It's a must do thing so that u can climb higher mountains, run and Swim longer distance. Btw still waiting to See ur first wishes pull 😂

Some things you need to do are: Wish for characters! This is possible using the selection circle you find inventory on and selecting the star shaped one! (Also make sure to check your mail for 20 free wishes!) Level up your characters! This can also be done in the selection circle in the spot shaped like the Traveler’s head! In this area you can also change weapons and equip/level up artifacts Read the character’s stories in the ‘Profile’ section in the character menu! A well as listen to voice lines there! Go trade the Anemoculi at the statues! They give you exp, primogems(used for wishes) and even constellations for the traveller!

It's ok nana, explore all you want. I specifically dont mind that, but if you intrested in the lore then doing "all" type of quest would be the way to go. Whichever way you want, you do as you feel comfertable. There also lots of puzzels to explore as well, and some can be really brainwraking, but fun lol. If you keep a close eye on your surrounding and expand your curiosity, you will find some nice rewards. I would suggest though, do a google search on how to get your characters stronger and how to combine characters's elemental powers to your advantage.

Even u just wander around exploring is a nice video to watch sometimes to break from stories/archon quests. Do it with your pace, I’m enjoying it so far!

Try occasionally holding your attack button for a stronger charged attack which does bigger damage. Also lisa's normal attack can be charged to break those wooden crates and barrels, thats why you were not hitting them by just tapping your attack button. most characters have a charged attack (holding down your attack button) except for bows when you aim which also charges when you wait a little bit. Also use elemental skills on enemies then switch to other characters and attack with their elemental skill to create elemental reactions that will make it easier. Usually normal attacks deal physical damage and only will deal elemental tadage when some elemental skills imbue your weapon with that element unlike lisa, her normal attacks deal electro damage which automatically reacts to any other element around. For example, if kaeya applies his cryo elemental skill on enemies or freeze them, switch and attack with lisa to deal superconduct which will deal more damage and weaken enemies resistance to damage making it easier and faster to kill. With amber, charge your shots so that her arrows deal pyro (fire) damage which will react with kaeyas cryo, lisas electro and the travelers anemo for a swirl damage and also spread to any nearby enemies

That island you commented on was visible at the start of the game (it was pretty much due east from your starting point), and I'm always curious to see if new players notice it - because unlike most of the landscape it's conspicuously absent from your map. With either Kaeya and a lot of ice bridging or Amber and a sufficiently high point to glide from (as well as enough stamina or food to restore stamina you can eat in the air) you can get there. If you like exploring, it's worth visiting at some point.

Don't forget use the elemental skill in battle once every time they're ready to use usually they do more damage than the auto attacks. And also switch characters to create elemental reactions for more damage and effects

Also, because I've seen this confusion before (and for the same reason - a streamer immediately wanted to destroy wood objects with Lisa, hit upon the same solution and latched on)... you weren't using Lisa's elemental skill. You were using her basic attack, which happens to do Electro damage and which also happens to have a different charged version (which has very narrow applicability and usually isn't worth spending stamina you could be saving to dodge - as you later noticed, this drains stamina rapidly). Her "Elemental Skill" is on the same button as everybody else's: tapping it produces a small ball of lightning which does decent enough damage at decent range and further primes its targets for the charged version of the skill, which takes a few seconds to get off and then has a long recovery but is a radial blast that at this difficulty level would utterly wreck those Pyro slimes - or the other encounters here - and which is hard for enemies to interrupt while you're charging it. Lisa could have trivially one-shotted all four Pyro slimes within five seconds; that time challenge wasn't supposed to be at all stressful. Since there's a point in the future this'll happen again with a trial character, I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with the Character screen of the UI. It's easier to equip artifacts from there rather than the inventory screen, and the "Talent" page gives you a comprehensive if not always easy to read description of almost every detail of a character's abilities. And trial characters get a Character page so you can learn how to use them the instant they're in your party (and later on, see how the developers equipped them for their appearance). On the topic of the UI, while some books you find do show up in your inventory, generally the stories you find are like information on creatures you meet or items you've seen - in your character's remarkable memory, which can be found from the main menu under 'Archive". (I agree the user interface for a game controller is a bit overloaded. Back in the opening tutorial when Paimon stopped being always visible and you got that tooltip showing you how to "summon her" - that's how to bring up the main menu.)

Once you level up enough to play the Psirak Abyss part of genshin, you will get Xiangling for free, a Pyro polearm user. She is way easier to play than amber and one of the strongest 4 star characters in the game.

@@ThatgirlNana Well it will be a long time until that happens. Xiao just had his banner a few weeks ago and today they revealed the next 4 banners for the upcoming patch (3.5). I personally recommend using the blue fates, those are used for the standard banner (Which includes all available 4* characters and a limited selection of 5* characters. Those being Diluc, Keqing, Qiqi, Mona, Tighnari and Jean) and save the pink fates for the event character that you want (like Xiao and Albedo). Dont worry too much about saving at the beginning, the game is pretty generous at the start and gives you a bunch of free fates so you can expand your roster and enjoy the game!
