Is there any chance you can make a video, maybe call it Abby 101, and educate a lot of us new subscribers on the different things that she does like steming (not sure if that's the right word) as far as yelling or biting, what is respite, what it means when she rocks on the couch, takes her shoes off in the car, etc? You guys are truly an inspirational family and have educated and helped so many; however, being a fairly new subscriber, I feel bad that I dont know a lot and would love to learn

I have to tell y'all that because of how great y'all are spreading autism awareness, I was able to not just see a boy with autism, loudly having lunch with his family, but I saw a boy with autism having the time of his life enjoying an awesome pizza buffet with his family! I couldn't help but smile while listening to his verbalizations when you was picking out his pizza. His flappy hands and big smile just make my heart sing. Thank you for all the work your family does to spread autism awareness! Much love from Texas!

I always felt exactly like that right after school. My mother would say, "You're young! You're supposed to have energy!" and then I found some study that said that adolescents have a midafternoon energy slump and they need a snack and about a half hour of downtime when they get home. By that time I was old enough to make my own schedule, though. I did it for the kids.... 😇

Ever since I discovered your channel at the beginning of summer, I’ve been hooked! I look forward to each new story and watch your older videos in between new uploads. Last night I found myself cracking up over the video of you guys ambushing Isaiah when he returned home with Nerf type guns that had arrived in the post. I love how despite your challenges, you never let go of enjoying the simplicities of life. A family that plays together stays together and you all do a marvellous job at that. Every time I see Abbie’s eyes light up and hear the sound of her laughter when she’s playing a prank, it fills my heart so much joy! She has a real sense of humour and I love how she even finds herself amusing and funny! Thank you for sharing your lives and Abbie’s journey with the world and all who are willing to watch and learn from your experiences. Even though I knew about autism and was a Nanny at one time to a boy with Aspergers from the time he was 8 until he was 13 along with his younger sister, I have learned soooo much more thanks to your video. I feel like I know you all even though I’ve only been a subscribing member for a few months now. I was never able to have kids of my own, am now single and living on my own with both parents passed on. My circle is really small but I feel like an extended part of your family now and the Maass has Squad community because you’ve done such a great job welcoming and making everyone feel so inclusive. Congrats on the purchase of your absolutely beautiful new home too! So many fabulous memories are going to be created there in the upcoming chapter of your lives! You guys should be really proud of yourselves! Despite your uphill battles and challenges in day to day life, you never once gave up nor stopped working hard towards your dream of being a homeowner! To accomplish such a feat with everything you have going in is to be commended! I know I couldn’t be more proud of you all. Your family is inspirational to say the least and you deserve every single blessing that comes your way in return for all the dedication and devotion you put into making not only Abbie’s world a better and happier place for her but for others who too are caring for and loving someone with autism. The education and awareness you bring to regular folks like myself is deeply and greatly appreciated.

I love seeing abby doing so many more things. My son who's 26 with autism works at our zoo 3 days a week. It makes me cry because I never thought he would be this independent. Edit- he lives at home, he's can't live on his own, but he can work and walk to the store (only a few blocks) and loves buying his own food and snacks.

That song a million dreams.. Whenever I hear it I think of your family the words best describe your family and how we on the outside with autistic children are saying to you to take us along with you. If you listen to the words it’s almost as if it’s about your life ....... 1 million dreams are keeping you awake. And how your sharing that with everyone and you want us to be part of it. Call me silly but if you really listen to the words you see what I mean. Love you guys and I’m glad I met you. My only regret is that I didn’t meet you 10 years ago.❤️😃

My daughter either scarfs her food down to the point I have to tell her to slow down or take some of it then give it back when she's normally chewed n swallowed the other food or she takes forever to eat, stretching it out over 30 minutes to an hour. She'll keep getting up n moving or wanting to do this or that then going back to it n I don't let her eat while she's jumping/ running around so it takes awhile.

i got my autism diagnosis on the 12th august 2019 (2 weeks ago) and found your channel a few days later. i’ve binged so many of your videos since and love them! i find it so inspiring to watch someone else on the spectrum, even though i probably have more in common with Isaiah (who is the same age as me)😂 but like Abbie, i love music. it gives me a sense of peace that nothing else can and if i could i’d bring my headphones everywhere! watching your videos has pushed me to finally start my own youtube channel which is something i’ve wanted to do for a while so thank you, even if you never see this. i’d also love to get some advice from Isaiah on being the sibling of someone with autism, for my older sister if that’s not too much to ask! again thank you so much for creating this beautiful community, i’ve only ever seen positive comments 💜

I understand the need to have friends. I don't have time to see or talk to alot of my friends because being a wife n mom n one if my kids having autism u kind of put all of that first n that becomes your identity where u don't have time to see or talk to friends. That would be awesome to have a couple with an autistic child to be friends with so the dad/husband can have a friend, the mom)wife can have a friend n the child can have a friend.

You should try waze it tells you if there is medium, light or lots of traffic and it tells you when there are cops near you... it also tells you if you are speeding and it tells you what the speed limit is... and you can set it to a lot of different settings depending on what you want a few are food places backroads only highways and a lot more you can also track if there an accident, traffic or a police and you can get points from it... It has work much better than google maps for my family...Im sorry if there is a miss spelling or something like that... I'm not the best at ELA. I love you guys so much and I hope this helps out with taking ab to school :)
