7:47 yes, the mimic tear uses everything that is equipped UPON starting the fight. That means all weapons, armor, spells, and consumables can be unequipped before the fight and it can't do anything other than punch you. And yes, you can re-equip all your gear DURING the fight and beat it easily

So Margit is the first boss and you fight him outside of Stormveil Castle, but you don't actually kill Margit it was actually Morgott the guy from this video and he was doing a similar thing to the ghost bosses you fight and if you kill Morgott first then Margit doesn't actually spawn outside of Stormveil. Fun fact, Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning actually had one of the final bosses as your exact clone in a shadow world. And considering that it's an RPG where you can build your character however you want, depending on how you built it and how you played, you could be in for one of the most hellish fights in gaming. If you want to know about copyright issues MOST of the music isn't copyrighted, except for a few songs like in his Devil May Cry review video there's a song called "Bury The Light"- which he uses in both videos(Part one and two)- There's a Russian company that keeps copyright claiming it even though they don't own the rights to the song in any way, nor partook in even making it. The company's called ELLO and have a reputation for doing it on most Bury The Light related content(i.e using the song in a video).

8:10 - short answer? That's exactly how you trivialize the fight :3 Mimic Tear copies what is on your equipped slots when you pass thru the fog gate, and won't pull from your actual inventory. Same for when you summon them! So you could hold a bow, summon the mimic, then swap to a sword, and have free cover fire! This summon is amazing, truly. Nothing like it in Dark Souls. I've been watching so many SoulsTuber Challenge-runners, like Baron's Castle, Press Continue, Bushy, and GinoMachino, so watching someone talk about the Mimic fight with excitement and good memories of a first timer impressed by the good execution of the concept, and not trying to one-shot it, is real refreshing! All those guys are on YT, and they are British, Dutch, Canadian (maybe American?), and Canadian (confirmed) in that order lol. Sadly, they ARE all still white guys, but, ya know, we celebrate small strides in diversity! (sweat emoji) Anyone want to recommend me other non-american or non-white or non-cix-male streamers who play Souls games more than once? I've seen a bunch of streamers of all stripes play the games ONCE, buuuut they almost never go back to em, even with all the replayability from different builds, challenge runs, and mods... Ranni isn't the villain. The closest you get to villains in Elden Ring are some of the Outer Gods, like the Greater Will, the One Great, the God of Rot, etc. In fact, Ranni's ending is possibly the closest we get to the good ending, because her ultimate goal is to rid the Lands Between of the influence wrought by the Outer Gods. The Lord of Frenzied Flame is quite possibly the worst ending. Not only do you succumb to the deceits fed to you by The Possessed (Shabriri, Hyetta) like Vyke did, you achieve nothing but destruction. You melt it all away, becoming a mass murderer and committing genocide. There is no good in this ending. You're nothing more than a pawn for the One Great. Hell, even the Omen ending has some merits to it, despite being nuanced and having many caveats. The Age of the Duskborn is good in that you give newfound freedoms to Those Who Live In Death, but that's only resolving one small problem among many, and you still remain subservient to the power of the Greater Will. I agree that The Age of Perfect Order is one of the better endings. Despite this, your actions will inevitably cause perpetuation of the cycles of hatred that falls under the Golden Order. The classism will continue to exist, and again, you remain subservient to the power of the Greater Will. I'd argue that Ranni's ending is far and away objectively the best out of the currently possible endings. Her ultimate goal is very similar to Miquella's actually. To rid the Lands Between of the influence of the Outer Gods. They're both the cause and the perpetuators of all the conflict in the Lands Between. She's giving everyone, no matter who they are, the chance to write their own fate. She knows the system is broken, and rather than try to fix it and fail like everyone else, she makes the necessary step to replace it entirely.
