Oh Deena - You are so precious. You have the cutest personality and when you said that about people seeing your joy and being attracted by that I knew in a minute that is what I see in you. And you have that beautiful smile too. The front of your house looks so wonderful. I love how it came out. I love seeing your secret garden also. I believe the first video I ever saw of yours was that you were working back there and came in and fix some breakfast. I then binge watched so many of your videos and have been captivated by all you do. Deena, have you always been so immaculate in how you do things? When you were a young wife were you very particular with how you keep your home? I wonder if you got that from your mother? My mother worked and went off to an office in high heels and dress to the nines every day when other mothers were stay at home mothers. So I was not trained that well in homemaking and what was required to keep a good home. I kind of learned from my girlfriend and copied what she did. My mother was very smart and very talented and I remember she would make all of my twirling costumes on her lunch hour at work but I don’t remember learning too much about keeping a home. Rebecca, Rachel and I are heading to Melissa‘s in Dallas tomorrow. You can bet we will go squirrel and I’ll think of you when we do. Ha ha. By the way I have to mention how much I enjoy Ronnie’s devotionals. They are thought-provoking, encouraging and comforting. Love in Christ.

Hello sweet friend. I hope you are or have had the time of your life with your girls. I’m so so excited for you. I am so glad you have and still continue to enjoy my little channel. Your love and support has always meant so much to me. Thank you. As for house cleaning…I think I was much “worse” when I was younger. I prayed and asked others to pray for me because my house work consumed me. I could not go anywhere before my house was completely clean, from top to bottom every single day. I vacuumed multiple times a day and never wanted our carpet to be without vacuum lines. I did learn it from my mom and dad. They were both very clean and neat people. My dad loved to keep our cars immaculate, so I too keep mine that way to this day. The house was of top priority for my mom. She also worked outside the home and still kept a very clean and spotless home. She ironed everything, abs I mean everything so our closets, cabinets and drawers all looked perfect. So, I definitely bet it from them both. Have a wonderful weekend.

The door display is by far one of your most creative pieces. Your love of God and country show through in everything you do. m also love the trellis. Think the door would have been too much. I really like how you married your outdoor decor with what you did inside. Everything is so welcoming!! That ivy is stunning and love the fact you have had it for so long. I do believe you have got your .97cents worth! Last summer I painted my front door black and just love the look, it had been a deep burgundy for years which I did love as well, but was ready for a change. Until next week be blessed !!

I suggest that if you have a sprayer for yout hose, put it on "mist" and spray all the garden. It is very effective for cooling plants in this hot weather. I am in Florida, our heat index was 112 yesterday, near that today, and expected to be the same tomorrow. Stay cool. Heat exhaustion and heat stroke are real. Your pretty black top is making me hot! Your art is lovely!

Yes, such a great idea. Our plants out front are all watered by our sprinkler system. I just know that the ivy will but a little when cut back, because it will expose leaves that haven’t seen the sun so wetting it down after a trim in the heat helps a little. Ha! Happy flag day! Perfect day to get your flags outside and update the porch. Always looks great. Many of my windows look bad right now due to a bluebird that keeps hitting up against them. I actually had to tape plastic bags to several windows to deter it. I think it has a mental issue ha. In my 34 years here, I’ve never seen them do this. FYI, Lantana doesn’t need a trellis. It’s a plant that grows close to the ground. It can get tall and bushy but it’s not a vine. It grows in almost every garden here in Tucson.

Yes, you are right. We have quite a few bushes here in our own yard. I mainly did it to give the smaller plant a little more to look at for the mean time. That’s why I knew I could take the trellis from it without and issue. I really need to replant that in to the ground so it will do better. Have a wonderful day.

We went shopping for material (fabric), time went so fast and so did My head. After looking at so many little pieces of material I couldn’t think straight. I haven’t changed decor in so long. Turned out perfectly!! I use lots of flags as well. You have to use the right "touch" otherwise it can be too much. I love the way you mixed the sizes in the planters. And, there's not a better feeling than a clean & freshly decorated porch!
