Deanna,I’ve been watching you for years and I’ve only posted once but I am definitely inspired to post this time. Your home is absolutely beautiful I am an interior designer and I love the detail that you give to every little vignette that you do. Your home shows how much love you have for it and your family and it shows by all the special touches and care. I love your color scheme it’s so refreshing not to see orange and burgundy for a change and I love that you still use traditional Decour and tassels. My favorite time was when Tuscan was in and we had all that beautiful guided decor in the houses and you still use them but very tastefully. I look forward to every Tuesday when you post and know that you are very inspiring not only with your decorating but with your lovely words and your love for God and your family God bless you looking forward to next Tuesday

Hi Deena - so beautiful! Friend, I love everything. From the front door to the bedroom to the garden. Everything is just perfect and so you. I totally agree that our homes are our haven and each person should do what makes them happy and feel good there. I built this home that I am living in now when I was in my late 20s. I’m now 75 and I still love it. I am so surprised that I do because at that young age I didn’t even really know what my style was. Over the years I have made many changes in floor coverings, light fixtures wallpaper up and wallpaper down. i’ve tried to keep it updated as best I can. It is home for us all. It’s where my girls grew up. When they were young I remember having the whole house full of girls and sometimes I would have to count the purses to see how much breakfast to fix cause I never knew how many were spending the night. Now it’s just me but everyone returns and it’s still home for everybody. I’m so thankful for what the Lord has provided. And as I have been reminded this morning to be grateful for everything. I received notice from my friend whose son has a very aggressive brain cancer. It is inoperable and cannot be treated with chemo or radiation. She and her husband flew out to Los Angeles to be with him in the little amount of time he has left. Please pray for her because this is her only child. also, for his wife and children. Love in Christ.

Dear Donna, I’m sorry for the late response. Ronnie read your comment to me the day you wrote and we have prayed for your friends and family. How horrible. I’m so very sorry. I pray the Lord can offer a comfort only He can. I would love to one day come and visit you in what I know is a beautiful home. You speak of it and all I see in my head is LOVE. I didn't think I would ever find someone who loves black as much as I do. Your style and vision are perfection. Ronnie's office is dark academia at its best. The desk is incredible! What a score!!!! And the wood tone of the buffet against the black wall is stunning. I could see that black wall trimmed out in wood to match the buffet. Love following your home through the seasons. Wow! I love the buffet Ronnie did a awesome job on it love it against the black wall. The black accent wall in the kitchen and bathroom WOW it’s stunning!!!! What beautiful work Ronnie has done!!!! Well I am back home from visiting my parents what a wonderful time we had but always to short it seems. My poor Momma was tearing up and crying a bit when we left. I waited till we got a few miles down the road and I had a good cry. I always enjoy coming home but it breaks my heart to leave them to. Really enjoyed your fall home tour from beginning to end. As I’ve said in the past your channel is so calming and inspiring. Love the new buffet. I can just see it decorated for Christmas. I’ve always admired your husband’s desk. I couldn’t believe what a bargain you all got. The birdcage is just delightful.
