I like you man!!! Wish I had a grandpa like you. Well your not grandpa old by any means. Great pack, I bought one to and pack it just like you said and it’s fine. I know some people add garbage cans to it and what not but that adds 5 lbs also it has shape when it’s loaded…. That’s the point. It doesn’t need shape when empty.

I was wondering if you remember where you got the wool blanket you put in the top of your pack? The one I am currently using is the 90/10 wool blanket that Rothko sells. It looks like you're just the wool percentage is 10% less. I have been looking for an affordable 100% blanket but haven't found any yet that wouldn't make the anorak style coats we make outrageous in price. Thank you in advance. God bless and stay safe.

Rich Schwartz eBay. www.ebay.com/itm/GENUINE-NEW-Italian-Army-Military-Blanket-100-Wool-NOS-Super-Heavy-Warm-/141735073660?hash=item210011977c non of the 100% wool blankets are cheap. This is the best pricing I have found.

Rich Schwartz what i would do is goto the black sheep and ask " oh blk sheep blk sheep have you any wool" then the sheep will tell me "yes sir yes sir three bags full, one for you, one for the dame and one for the little boy that lives dwn the lane".

Great video. I have the same pack. Have you moved away from using the BulPac? I really like the idea of modular packing. Keep the videos coming. Learning a lot.
@wcknives
@wcknives 8 жыл бұрын
+Hikeyourmind Yes and no. I still have the Bull Pac Frame and thinking about using it with a trappers pack basket. My amo can for the modular system hinge broke so that set up wasn't the best option. Still love the frame though and idea. Appreciate your view and comment.

Nice load out but alittle heavy for a smaller man. Wouldn't want to trek to long with it. You use any form of conveyance?
@wcknives
@wcknives 9 жыл бұрын
wildernesscamp 85 I tend to buy gear for the long term as explained in this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5LEc3WqbrBnbpo This means the gear is a little heavier than some and yes I do use a boat as a conveyance. If I was hiking then I would certainly go light as possible but I don't think it would be very much lighter. Appreciate the view and comment.

+GoFeesh 85 Appreciate your video support. I think it comes down to personal need. If you like bucket packs with a bomb proof durability and warranty like I do then I would say it was worth it. If you only want something to use a few times a year and then this pack is probably not what you are looking for. Also it isn't a light pack. I think this one weighs around 7-8 pounds empty.
