A couple things: I know it's easy for me to SAY, but I'd probably go ahead and knock that fuel filter out while it's up. Seeing the old tank, never know what particulates are still in the line. Second, I'd be pretty tempted to drop that dash and make sure you don't have any rat droppings (or worse) behind there. Last thing you want is to be chasing a wiring issue or breathing in rat doo doo dust lol Good to see the dually getting a little love! One day that thing is gonna be cruising the roads!

I just wanted to say thank goodness for the Dually video. 😂 I was beginning to think you were abandoning the duallies. As far as injectors goes, everything lushes over 5 oh injectors, and I have only read a few having issues. I went with *Your Injector shop" Bosch injectors, and have no complaints after three years, picked up a tad bit on mileage(13.6 unloaded), fires on a bump of the key, idles smooth as glass. I was supposed to 411 swap both of my gmt400s but there are so many crooks (local & online) that I struggle with what direction to go. Recently, in a KZbin video, a guy was complaining how BlackBear ripped him off and blasé blah. I'm kinda reluctant to believe it but even here local to me a few shops and tuners have come under scrutiny. So much so, that I was thinking of buying HP and paying for a tuning class and DIY it.

Nice! I like the dually! I have a 454 Vortec in my 97 GMC that I just got finished putting head gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, and o-rings on the injectors. I’m almost positive that’s the fuel injectors that has it running like that. You may have a couple of them that are either dirty or are no longer good.

I've been doiing some research and ran across Five-O motorsports. Whole set of upgraded OEM for $500. Probably gonna try those. Which brand gaskets did you use. There is definitely a leak somewhere, the valve covers are super oily

@ I used FEL-PRO Head Gasket HS9502PT gasket set from Autozone. If you do the fuel injectors and gaskets, be sure you replace the fuel pressure regulator also. I purchased mines from Oreillys part #PR217. It will save you from headaches later on since you already will have the upper intake manifold off. I hope this helps!

I read the injectors are bad sticking open on the L29 454. Swapping to ls3 injectors is the move. I'm pulling a L29 now that spun the cam bearings, stuck injector was the root cause. I'll be upgrading the injectors.

I haven't read that about LS3 injectors on a 454. I need to look into that. Do you have any links or more info?

I don't remember where I read about the ls injectors. When I tried finding it, Bosch III four hole injectors keep coming up. These injectors were being sold for the 454 and ls engines, best I can tell.

Happy holidays. Love the 3500, it's coming along. My 92 c1500 is the same way some control arms like stonefab or the like will pull the tires in about an inch. That will solve your tucking issues.

All that front end stuff is new. It has new control arms on it. But i do need to look into all options

@CoolCarsKJ standard aftermarket even if they are tubular control arms are the same geometry as the oem. They make aftermarket ones that pull the wheels in specificly for tucking wider rim and tire sets. Stonefab customs has a website check those out as an example. I believe 3 companies make similar ones. 👍

Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Wires, Distributor Cap, and Rotor, Engine Coolant Sensor, Bleed Coolant System, then the truck should be good.

38:37 looks like you got airbags in the back. Do you have airbags in the front? If you do, check your bags to see if any leaks. Could be the reason why truck is sagging on one side.

What helper bag kit u got? I got a cc just like that one with 5/7 drop now I need helpers to tow trailer on occasion and seems every kits I see says won't work on lowered trucks. May just build my own but wanted to see if there was a readily avaliable kit.

We build bagged and lowered rides so the fab wouldn't be an issue just wanted find a ready avaliable kit So I didn't have to piece one together. I wana be able to find some semis to tuck and didn't want a kit where bags outside frame.

KJ Don't waste your time on Harbor Freights green aluminum 1.5 Ton Daytona Jack it's so lightweight it won't lift, my brother and i bought one for every one of our cars when the went on sale for $79 we bought 7 in total, and it's not strong enough to lift my Nova or my Tahoe's wheels off the ground, it'll do fine for a little foreign compact car, I'll stick with the 3 ton Jack's

Mine works. Maybe you got a defective one. They won't have a problem exchanging it. Also, one thing that some people forget to do is check hydraulic fluid, and bleed the cylinder before using.
