Missed the beginning but heard someone mention the house and new home gym that comes with that, congrats bro! Can’t wait to see the tour. Btw, would be sick if you hit 18” arms. Probably a solid, challenging lifetime goal. Even if you hit that 17.4 measurement again but at the same bw you were at 16.8 on last, still cool. I’ve been considering trying to get 18 at a lighter weight instead of continuing to push for more, deep into bear mode lol

Thank you so much, Landon! I gotta get my home gym on your level, and keep working to build these 18 inch arms over time. Following your training principles, I do believe it's the most refined approach we've seen yet and the results talk. Let's keep doing our best, either trying to keep the gains at a lighter bodyweight or go beyond. Bear Mode always feels good!

Hey Alex, so just wanted to say that you are a massive inspiration for me. I’ve been watching you for a while now, and you’ve inspired me so much to just stop caring about what others think in the gym and to just stick and get better at the basics (ESPECIALLY when it comes to neck training, you were a big inspiration). I want to thank you for all the dedication towards us; the tips and help that you have given us over the many years. Keep up the amazing work, and I’m glad that you are finally seeing the fruits of your labor (with the new house and upgraded gym etc). Ps, nice cross necklace, not sure if you believe in Christ as your Lord and Savior or not, but God bless you Alex, keep on rockin’ on in the free world.

Hey Alex, what's your opinion on Martin Berkhan and his training and diet methodologies (IF / Leangains)? I know you dislike training minimalism, but it seems that he's not really a genetic outlier considering his transformation photos? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Congrats on the new house.... and thanks for helping us out by sharing your wisdom. Definitely one of the best natural bodybuilders. But it's kinda weird that your body functions well on a vegan low salt diet and not on a omnivore diet.

Generally bloated on a vegan diet; Too much carbs, too much tofu . But I give again a try at the moment. I want this to work but animal protein, some eggs, are much more lighter on my stomach that constantly feeding me with grains / legumes which is too much volume... and digestion is generally a mess. I was 3 years vegan a few years ago, but I stopped because of digestive issue. Meat and eggs worked very well for me after. But now.. I'm testing again and want this to work :)

+ didn't see any vegan that have amazing shape. Brian turner maybe. Nimal Delgado is a no no for me, obviously was on testosterone + becoming more and more gay (literally looks like a muscular girl). (like brian turner also). I notice that a lot of vegan become a lot more feminine that a few years ago : what is going on ? A lot to address that. And I'm telling you this as a former vegan and a "want to be vegan again".

And again, is that ok to spike insulin with carbs all day long with a plant based diet ? I don't really know. (if. no carbs, the only solution is tofu and somewhat I'm sick of it after a few weeks, and I don't want to eat pure gluten like Seitan which is a non sense for me since it's very inflammatory : who wants to eat pure gluten ?)

Is the risk of finasteride for tearing tendons and so forth only 1%. I thought it was much more than that but I haven't looked at him sometime. I started losing my hair due to DHT in my late twenties and it was just a little bald spot in the middle and I could basically wear any short hair. Style and nobody could really tell but then I developed alopecia when I was in my early forties and I started getting a little weird bald patches all over the place. It eventually grew back but the top of my head is hopeless and I would rather have a shaved head and be one of these guys that has hair on the sides and the back of his head but none on top I just think that looks like that outdated kind of silly look

If you are half Sicilian and half Greek., then it's not surprising according to DNA tests Sicilians have more Greek blood than the blood of Italian mainlanders they also have about anywhere from 25 to 30 or 40 percent North African blood meaning places like Egypt Morocco Tunisia Algeria and Libya. Now the Greeks are said to be in the Europeans who probably migrated from the south side of the Mediterranean thousands of years ago into what's now modern-day Greese. So Greek people also have a fair amount of Middle Eastern blood. In the movie true romance where Dennis Hopper tries to imply that Sicilian people have black blood, that's not really true and there's nothing wrong with it either way but North Africa is technically Caucasian and Middle Eastern people are technically Caucasian even though many specialists in genealogy are now rethinking the idea of only three races with black white and East Asian. Caucasian has several nationalities that obviously have a mixture of Asian blood or sub Sahara n African blood. The thing is is you look extremely Greek. The other mistake that they made in Greece is that all terrorists who are going to get on an airplane are going to be clean shaven. And they are not going to be dressed in any Islamic traditional clothing. Not that you were wearing that but if you see a guy with a beard who looks very Middle Eastern he's a guy on a plane that you probably should not be very afraid of. It's the guys who people think are Italian Greek or Spanish who are clean shaven Middle Eastern terrorists who also have spent a lot of time away from the sun because they want to get on the plains without getting harassed. The 9/11 bombers didn't look like a group of terrorists with short hair and wearing American style clothing. No one looked like bin laden but because he was behind the attack everybody assumes that that's the look of the people who are going to do the actual dirty work and it is rarely that way. The guys behind the scenes are smart and they make sure that their suicide bombers or other idiots who are willing to kill themselves thinking they're going to get 72 virgins in Paradise by killing innocent people never go into a job wearing any of the Islamic clothing and always with westernized style haircuts and clean shaven. That's why in America because they're so afraid of getting called racist they don't ever tell a guy with dark hair and olive skin or darker skin to open his bags and are always harassing the old ladies and the blonde hair young girls girls. When I used to wear a beard and fly all the time for work, no one working airport security in America ever gave me a second glance but I could tell that plenty of people who are getting ready to get on the plane for me had doubts. I was always doing my work on the plane and I usually just flying from Chicago to DC or Chicago to Detroit show the flights were between 1 and 2 hours. During this time I was always busy on my computer but when I would fly home and not have much work to do, or I was exhausted and could do it over the weekend the clients who flew us out first class, always set me next to some guy with pale skin who looks like he was straight from Scandinavia and I noticed a few of those guys looking a little nervous when I was next to them with a full beard and wavy hair. Now I'm bald and shave my head, but back then I used to be fairly 10:00 as a vacation to warm places whenever I went vacation. I also have naturally olive-toned skin and because my hair was black and pretty wavy, just add a beard and with my bushy dark eyebrows I could easily pass for a terrorist. But like I said America is such a goofy place in that people would rather let a terrorist on a flight then be called racist for checking the bags of guys that look like they might be from countries that harbor terrorists. Sometimes when I didn't get checked I was actually a little bit worried thinking are you guys doing your job?😮 because out of everyone on this flight I look like the biggest risk, although as I stated the 9/11 terrorists did not look like a group of guys you need to worry about because they must completely westernized. If you are being in respectful radical Muslim, you would never present yourself that way unless you were getting ready to do something terrible. From the way I understand it you always must cover your head and a beard is a sign of deference and respect that I could be wrong I just don't see. The Greece and Rome France and all over Europe they have guys with automatic weapons on every corner. People always talk about the crime rates being so high in America because people have guns but that's bullshit. There's a lot of reason for crimes but I'll tell you one thing to be a lot less criminal activity if on every corner there is an armed guard with a machine gun when I was in Italy and France myself safe as a kitten

What about combining Arnold split with conjugate? Chest/back (MAX horizontal press, MAX pull -> backdown work + accessory work) Shoulders/arms (90% max vertical press, backdown work + accessory work) Legs/abs (MAX squat, 90% max deadlift, backdown work + accessory work) Chest/back (MAX pull, MAX horizontal press, backdown work + accessory work) Shoulders/arms (MAX vertical press, backdown work + accessory work) Legs/abs (MAX squat, MAX deadlift, backdown work + accessory work) Rest - Adding 5lbs every session in 6-10 rep range until I can't anymore, then swap out the exercise for an alternative and drop the weight back to 10 rep at rpe 8.

Hey Alex, fellow Mediterranean anglo montreal vegan here 😅. I also started for health reasons and the ethics quickly followed suit. I have to say, it feels like you're super reluctant to lean into the ethical vegan angle and I can't quite understand why. Not sure if it's because you're being cautious not to offend the insecure meat eaters in your community, or if you think it'll make you come off as a snowflake lefty. But I'll say this - the movement NEEDS more people like you (strong, center-left, center-right) to be full throatedly vocal about vegan ethics so we can escape this asinine coupling with angry blue haired socialists or whatever other caricature of vegans people have in their heads. Don't get me wrong, I'm here for lifting/programming advice, not because I expect or even want you to become the next "vegan fitness activist youtuber". Just wish you didn't shy away from some more aggressive endorsements of vegan ethics when prompted. Anyway I'll stfu. Love your work man!
