You get a 6.7” QHD+ dynamic Amoled 2x display with 120Hz, the phone comes in three colors being Icyblue, Navy, Mint, and silver shadow. The phone is 7g lighter than last year, a bit slimmer, and a bit more round.
Still Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and color matched armor aluminum rails on the edges
Samsung is focusing a lot more this year on some internal features.
Cameras are essentially the same as last year, with 50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP telephoto but we have some new features.

My only real drawback so far is that the camera is not improved to 2025 standards.

The “Now Bar” shows you the pertinent information on the lockscreen
E.g. “the game is starting in 15 minutes” or “your flight is in an hour” or driving directions, etc. - I think this is sort of similar to the iPhone live actions thing
2 - AI Agents
So circle to search was great last year and I still use it everyday. Now you can search audio as well

3 - Integrated AI platform
Long press to ask Gemini to do stuff and it can actually work between an expanding list of apps
Ask personal concierge to do stuff - find game, add to calendar

Guys, it may look very similar to the s23 and s24, but most people aren't upgrading every year, if someone is coming from an s22, s21 or earlier, this is a major upgrade, we're looking at it through 2025 lenses, but if someone has a phone from 3+ years ago, theyre gonna think that this will be worth the upgrade

It's only an upgrade for s22 because of how exceptionally horrible it was in heat and power consumption. The fact samsung isn't using the new silicon carbon batteries in the s25 is quite literally about to be a deal breaker for me to jump ship to OnePlus. Disgusting that a flagship isn't even delivering the cutting edge tech anymore.

Yup you are correct the s22 had terrible battery life and efficiency because it used the 8 Gen 1 and that processor was checks and glad they turned it around and made the 8 Gen 2 as goated as it was and now the 8 elite is even more efficient

With a base storage of 256GB, i'm set with space but a 3.5mm jack is an unjustified omission. My Xperias are ultra-slim with 5000mAh batteries, headphone jack + SD cards _with_ IP68 protection.

I agree☠I just bought an SD to use on my current phone...headset with jack are amazing way better than anything Bluetooth that I have tried and it's cheaper. Why not get the S24 Ultra. S25 Ultra is missing the photo snap function on the S pen. So I would consider it a downgrade the AI will be paid function by end of 2025 anyway and you can get an S24 Ultra for the same price as the base model S25...If its actually important to you To use the pen S24 Ultra has the best pen. In my country S25 Ultra is the only model not out of stock with providers...S24 Ultra is being bought instead 😂So if you can get it instead. I might get Samsung S24 or S24 Ultra bc my providers shows the plus and base models are put of stock most likely they reached the limit they will be provided by Samsung. Which is a shame bc they offered s better deal than the official Samsung site

@@ValtersPelns Indeed, the OnePlus 13's photo sensors are larger/better than those of the S25 Plus, but in reality, even the S24 Plus is better than the OnePlus 13 in photos but especially in video, so the S25 Plus with it's new iSP 🤷🏽‍♂️, photo-video on a smartphone is certainly having good hardware, but above all having the good photo-video software processing, which Oppo refuses to give to OnePlus.

I have the SG A7 2018, that has hold for me despite all the drops that has receive over the years; I have had it since 2019 (Only the back panel came off but its the glue that was holding it that lost his stickiness because of the heat). Yes, I have pre-ordered my S25+, I'm coming from my old S10+, so everything is gonna be new and amazing. Ppl don't update their phones yearly anymore, it's so not necessary as not huge tech change from one year to the next. When it's over 3 years then there is a difference. But yes, I went with, well, I don't really want anything bigger than what I have now, which I felt it was huge back 5 years ago. Everyone I know who used to have the Ultra or notes, rarely used that S pen. And yes...who cares for x100 zoom.

Coming from a S21 Ultra my expectations for the perfect phone changed in one regard: size & weight! Im glad the lineup is getting a SD8 through out. Yes, in the UK now, we do not get the Exynos; the Plus model is more interesting, mainly as I never use an S-pen and I rarely use Zoom. Also, I use a tempered glass screen protector, so the antiglare does not work.

@@gamingkiller9975 no.. I think you cant use the QHD display with 120Hz even on an Ultra. I think either use QHD with 60Hz or FHD+ with 120..

I have the Google 9 pro XL and I'm trading it in for the 25 or 25+ to me the Galaxy is better, especially camera wise. I should've keep the 24 ultra

Well the s25+ includes 256GB storage with the base model. The base s25 includes only 128GB. I also realized that I can use my Samsung tablet's spen on the s25+ when I'm at home. So I just have to live without the spen when I'm away. I saw a $20 case with spen storage if I can't. I'm waiting to see if there are any s25+ heating issues before buying.

Anti-reflective on my s24 ultra, i have experienced it for 2 days maybe, until i got my screen glass protector put on. So its just a gimmick which you will never use. What bothers me most is how come that the heat management on the Galaxy devices is so horrible that it makes me seriously think to switch to iphone, and battery too.

If you don't like big phones the S25 Plus is still too big. The S25 is the real deal for me. I think Samsung should change the 3X zoom camera to a periscope camera.

As a s24+ user it will cost me $300 to trade in. I still couldn’t be bothered. IMO apart from the chipset 1-120 hz ltpo screen is the only upgrade(s24 does minimum 25 or 60?) Not worth it
