I got some safe strats that are detailed in the description, so please make sure to check them out But even then, a lot of this run came down to luck, unfortunately. In case you don't know, the melees and knife executions are guaranteed to give you s, so I was able to dodge some insane hits. And then, some of the enemy attack hitboxes are just weird. Like some of the grabs from Saddler should have caught me in this video, but they didn't. Those happened like 7 times in over 150 attempts with that boss fight, and I have no idea why... I did retry a lot in order to get cleaner recordings, but I kept f**king up one way or another, so this is the end product. I'm not sure if I have the courage to do the main game after this. There are like 25 BS fights over there, so I'm not sure getting S+ with no damage/knife only is worth the mental damage. It's definitely possible with save scumming though, so I will need to think about it...

Gonna be real, i think many people, even people who like to get unreasonably good at RE games like you and I, wouldn't try to knife only this game. Its just not fair enough for me to ever consider it. The fact you pulled this off at all, luck or not, is crazy. Idk, I would take the win here and just accept that the main game is in no way built with this challenge in mind. But if you think you can pull it off and it wont drive you mad, hell, you can probably do it man.

out of all of the other videos, I thought the sniper video was the cleanest. but over all, this is a Knife Through Butter Masterpiece. So many clutches in this video makes me want to say, "WATCH OUT... oh never mind." over and over again I'm experiencing jaw dropping moments. I know it took several times to do a perfect run but that it paid off for this amazing video. Well done and keep up the amazing work.

Killing the knights with knife only and parrying Novistadors is so sick! The 20 minutes of Double Garrador fight is so brutal! Carnival ride is surpisingly deadly now lol I cannot believe it's possible to just outrun so many things in the Island. Wish I've known these before doing handgun and knife only run.

Haha you're welcome. Honestly I don't think it will help you much. That Armadura fight is one of the worst rooms in this run, and the strat I used did take multiple attempts to work since you really want the Armaduras to not do that stupid falling animation when you try to stagger them If you are doing a handgun/knife run, I would recommend a maxed upgrade Blacktail instead. It absolutely destroys this room

It's pretty much just because I wanted to, although I did want to make sure I got enough money in chapter 5 to buy the case upgrade and all necessary charms. The health recovery items were useful though, when I needed to practice to plan my routing before recording

Nope. It's just the same if you use guns. Hit the armor part or the plaga part enough times, and the armaduras will drop on their knees to give you a melee prompt

its impossible to perfect parry every attack of enemies including boss fights, it must be a mod or something cause in professional you have to parry perfect to survive the attack

Not that long, maybe 1 or 2 hours. During testing, I always use the SRT which show enemy HP, so it's not too hard to figure out how much damage I can deal to the El Gigante before each knife breaks

If you feel inclined you should do a commentary version, or do a version that's edited down to 30-60 mins and also has commentary. I'm sure this is great but me and many others get bored without the personality of the player added... sorry, but I just can't take 3 hours of straight up gameplay footage. The commentary and edits are why there are so many gamer channels that are blowing up; people come for the game but stay because they like the players themselves. Just my honest thoughts.
