Super exciting! I love Palmer's writing sstyle and am interested to see how it translates to LitRPG. I'm currently obseesed with The Good Guys sereis by Eric Ugland in the genre of LitRPG. It's so good!

I have not read anything that feels like leveling up or grinding for XP yet in this genre. I have read some things considered LitRPG which I didn' realize beforehand. I do have some things on my list that are more GameLit (including this book), so we shall see!
