​@@sarahsandstrom4853That's because it is. Since it's the Tenjiku arc's beginning, it was supposed to be the first episode of the season 3 but I guess they either wanted to spice things up or just wanted to shorten the season since the arc is just too long or maybe both, who knows...

The best character in the entire series is here, Izana Kurokawa🙌 And fun fact: In one of the official arts, it was stated by the author that Taiju and Mitsuya secretly became close friends after the fight on Christmas

Glad that you noticed the Yin/Yang symbol on their jackets. Even though it is not an outward plotpoint I have always felt that it is very symbolic of Takemichi (the light) and Mikey/Kisaki (the dark). And this illustrates their relationships and Takemichi's value to the story. He is not meant to be a fighter, he is meant to counter the darkness in Toman. People ask why Mikey is so attached to Takemichi and this is the reason. Mikey does not need another good fighter, he needs a guiding light. That being said....BRING ON TENJIKU.
