I must have listened to this posting many times, and each time I do that I get something new from it, what a great artist. I also have the same trouble with my hearing but I carry on and I imagine what I'm playing sounds like. I often think that the piano is out of tune, but that's only what I hear.

When I first brought home Pyramid in 1960 at the ripe old age of 10 I knew I found my ear groove, this was the sound that was to define my life. So, if you love jazz, and why would you be here unless you do, buy the MJQ Live at Carnegie Hall, 1966. It will set your soul free and let you fall in love with Jesus.
