As always Zeb some great insight into the gear you use. I tend to agree with you on your choice of Bino harness as I've had a few over the years. I recently purchased the newer fully enclosed Marsupial Bino harness and even though it fully encapsulates your optics I actually still prefer the original. The material used on the original just seems tougher and I think it will last longer, especially if you are pushing through hard areas of blackberry or similar. Stay well mate, talk soon.

Hey if your interested in a better design on the SW pack have a look at Southern Lite packs in NZ. Based on SW but adapted for hunters and you can customize. To protect your pack sew up a cover using old fleece with elastic band and a elastic strap from an old pack cover. Quiet in the bush and protects (and compresses) your expensive pack. Use the sleeves from an old fleece top to cover your waist straps if you want. Use this to cover an Exo Mtn gear pack in NZ bush. Get the benefits of a compressed pack with a meat shelf and quiet, protected

Hey snoop, I'll check it out. I'm anal about weight so never add anything to my pack I don't need. If the deer hears me because of my pack it's dead already cause I'm that close. 😉

I've been running the Black Diamond FLZ's for a couple of years. Holding up well and pack down size is a winner 👍🏻

@@ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures I've also got the Marsupial Gear new bino-pouch with the side covers. Had the original before that. An improvement but not worth doing the upgrade unless you really want them. If you know someone handy with needle and thread you could do the side covers yourself. Happy hunting.

Hey Zeb - good review. The bivvy you run, is that the SOL Escape Pro? How does the condensation go in that?

Yes it's the pro. No longer making it I believe. Never experienced any condensation because it has an open top.
