Skip the first 5 minutes, that's when the bit about the bag starts. I would like to have seen a detailed demo of the operation of the adjustment/locking mechanism which is probably the most important aspect of these bags.

thanks for your video. I just received and unpacked the 10L version, but unfortunately I did not learn until now that it cannot be used with my single rail titanium rack on my Lynskey gravel/road bike at the same time as my ortlieb panniers. So, guess it's going back and i'll find another solution. I looked back at the ortlieb site and I did not see that mentioned anywhere, so just a heads up.

Will the rack pack/rc type bag work with the rc roll top panniers on the same rack? Concerned about the mounting systems of both interfering with each other.

Hello. So obviously it depends on the rack your using. Of course it has to have separate rails for the bags to mount to and of course overloading your bags will make things difficult. Great thanks so much for the input and link. I have the Salsa rack and the Ortlieb classic roll tops. I think I may go to REI and try it out. If it does not work w my rack can you recommend a Velcro mount rack top bag. I have the Topeka bag now and is nice but it is NOT waterproof as we are finding out on our trip on the GAP trail.

Where to put camera gear on a bike for easy access has been a pain ..my soloutiojn i found work was in one stem bag camera -mic batteries .. second stem bag drone and controller dji mini 3 pro ..so when i want stuff I don’t even get off the bike

Hello. No it does not fit 1120 rear rack. The rear rack that comes on the bike is has tapered top rails and is not designed for that style of rack. Cheers

Hello. I wanted to try a bag with the MIK attachment system. The MIk system worked great but the bag itself was not good. I have used this bag extensively and can say it is a very good bag, Once on the rack it is secure and has never failed me to date, other than when my bike fell over and one of the release handles broke off, Ortlieb sent me a new one no hassle but I actually like it better with one handle. Hello. Yes I am still running the same rack. If your looking for this style of rack than no I can not recommend another rack as I have not used any others. I have well over 20,000 kms on this rack with zero issues if that helps! Thanks for watching. Cheers

Nice review. I just installed this on my rack and it seems pretty strong. The only issue I have is that the Velcro bit seems a bit weak? I love my ortlieb panniers and the buckle system they use, but the jury is out on this trunk.

Hey sorry I never saw this comment until just now. i have used this bag for just over a year now and I can tell you that it is more durable than I expected and I also feel that the velcro closure could be more substantial but it actually hasn't been to much of a issue. Safe Travels

Hi Bob. There are alot of cheap options out there. Amazon is loaded with cheap gear. But I from what I have seen first hand it is garbage for the most part. But one brand you may want to check out is Axiom. They are a brand I have been familiar with at the bike shop for some time now. Good quality gear for reasonable prices. @@Bikepacking I still have to get a good main camera myself. I always used 1080 but recently switched to 4K and I like the quality better. It takes more space but for outdoor shooting I think it's worth it.

Do not purchase this Trunk-Bag. The latching handle used for attaching bag to bike is made of plastic and will break very easily. I purchased this Trunk-Bag for my Great Allegheny Passage ride and the handle broke on the first day. I have returned it to my dealer hoping it can be repaired or replaced.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I had a similar experience and have another video about if you want the details. But Ortlieb Canada took care of it and the bag still worked perfectly. My bag now only has one handle and in my opinion is better with only one handle, so much so I messaged Ortlieb to let them know lol. Check out my latest video about the handle. Thanks for watching. I did watch your other video, great video. I also purchased the Ortlieb Back-Roller Classic 40L, and the Ultimate Six Classic handlebar bag. All are great bags except the Trunk-bag. The handle should not be made of cheap thin plastic that will break when trying to remove the bag with a little weight in it. Also the velcro is very weak also. As good as Ortlieb other bags are, this bag isn't. Ortlieb could make this bag much better by reinforcing the handles or making them of metal.@@WanderingEyeOutdoorAdventures
