The words "masterpiece of cinema" have lost all meaning at this point with how often people spam them. this is a lovely video but it's a youtube video, not a scripted, acted movie made by a hundred people for the big screen aka the cinema

@@tomreingold4024 i typically consider a masterpiece something that's an all-time great. It's a big word. It's become used as a synonym for "excellent" or "great" or even "good". Every KZbin video with moderate effort and shot at 24p has a dozen comments under it calling it a masterpiece of cinema 😂 Again this is a really good vid and this isn't a dig at it, but abusing our vocabulary with hyperbole for the sake of being nice destroys all meaning. It's okay to say something is good without saying it's the best thing you've ever seen. Same goes for the word "cinema". I don't think Gen z and beyond knows what a movie is.

I think its fair to say we all fell in love with Victoria. If you'd like to follow her next adventure, please check out her channel and other links in the top of the description. Anyway, although this video might start off sad, its not all doom and gloom and also encapsulates some truly magical moments that will stay with me for a long time. I hope you enjoy it. Please be kind in the comments. We are real people, and there is always a lot more going on than people share online. Thank you!

Hi Greg. I’ve been following your and Victoria’s adventures since you two left Dead Horse-Prudhoe Bay in July 2022. I am a fan of bikepacking and originally was following Ryan Van Duzer and John Freeman since 2020 and remember seeing you for the first time at a store with both. I think that was the first time you all met one another. I think Ryan and John were touring Arizona at the time, heading to Grand Canyon. When you and Victoria started your quest to Argentina from Dead Horse, I have anxiously watched out for your videos by the day. Love watching Victoria sing in Spanish…she is a kick and yes, we all have fallen in love with the both of you. Keep your passion for bikepacking to Argentia alive and finish it with gusto and bravado. I pray that you and Victoria end up together at some point in the future if that is what you both want. God be with you always to the end my friend.

It's rough mate, it will always be, but gradually you start to live with it like you did in the end of the video. Greg, I'm from Perú, and something incredible happened just a few days ago. I met a guy on his way to Argentina cycling from Alaska. His name is Rodri and he is from Wales. My friends and I were making our way from Lima (Perú) to Arequipa and Rodri reached us when we were about to get to Tanaka wich is a small town that belongs to Caraveli (Arequipa). As usually when I meet someone doing this on his bike, I´ve been asking him a lot of questions because a love cycling too, and since he is from Wales and he was explaining us where Wales is located, I remembered you because in one of your videos you said you were from England so I asked him about you and surprisingly he told me that you and Rodri were in a Whatsapp group. I just coudn´t believe it. Now I know that you´re coming back to Mexico in some weeks to retake your trip. I´d love to meet you someday when you get to Perú and give you a big hug. I met you because of Victoria, so I´ve been following your yt channel and I hope you can overcome this difficult moment very soon. Best wishes to you from Perú. Thank you for what you´re doing. 🤗 PD: Sorry about my English, I´m trying to learn more and more everyday.

Thank you for your raw honesty! So sorry your adventure took such a turn! What an encouragement this video will be to others who find themselves in the middle of something that they do not want to go through I really appreciate and enjoy your videos and will look forward to the next one when it comes. That was the best thing I've watched in a long time. The spirit of adventure, the willingness to get lost, and the courage to move on is inspiring. This has encouraged me to get lost on two wheels and find home wherever I end up. Cheers!

I’ve been following along with your journey for over a year now, and loving every second you share. I really can empathise with what you went through, and I’m happy that you came out the other side well and got to see your family and friends. You inspired me to take my first bike packing trip, I cycled from Munich to Milton Keynes (my home), and so even though you may just be some guy on a bike, you’re a very inspiring guy on a bike and I am so glad that I took on the challenge because it was one of the best experiences of my life so far. Thank you.

Hi Greg, I'm not the type of viewer leaving comments on every single video, but this was a very special one, I really hope you continue your bike journey going south, there are tons of people and amazing places ahead of you and like you said there are going to be tough days but also great one, funny enough I'm from Argentina, but leaving in UK (Essex), all the best mate looking forward to see the next chapter of your adventure.

Greg and Victoria--love to you both on navigating the roads of your hearts and the roads of our world. Thank you, Greg, for the honesty and painful beauty of sharing what it means to be human, and to love, and to let go. Your magnificent adventure is part of a life well-lived--I am humbled and grateful that you are sharing it. Onward!

Our hearts are with you Greg! Clearly your adventure is not just through the landscapes external to you, but they are also internal/emotional adventures. No doubt you (and we) would prefer to still have Victoria traveling with you but we're so glad you found your solo-traveling mojo. You are such a positive spirit and have an uncanny ability to see the good in everything... much like the late Iohan "Bike Wanderer." I hope your visit back to England was restorative and we are looking forward to following your ongoing bike adventure. Cheers!!!

What an absolutely incredible video. I love how you talked through the development of your emotional state as you travelled. As someone who has solo travelled I relate to a lot of that and it was so cool to see someone else be so vulnerable about it. Well done!

Greg, I've been following you since the very first beginning of your Panamerican adventure, because it was a KZbin suggestion even though you had hardly any subscribers or views yet. And look now: we're one year later and you've hit the +150 k subscribers' mark! One year later and you're in Mexico, one year and you've had to find back your spirit travelling alone. And you all did it! I'm still enjoying every video you release, although sometimes we have to be a bit patient :) And also: your video-editing and story telling skills have grown so much. It's just amazing!! Wishing you a good time in England and hope to see you back on your bike in a new video in the future! All the best, que te vaya bien!!

Oh Greg, I've been through the comments and basically all I am thinking has been said but I still feel the urge to tell you about it. Thank you for this video, thank you for being honest, and raw, and vulnerable. For not hiding those low moments. I am having some low days myself and this is all I needed to see, that it's okay to accept them, feel them, talk about them, and live through them as well. At the same time I feel like I've just watched a great movie, a very visually pleasant one, with perfect music (raw, emotional, thanks Tom!), what else do we need? For you to have some lovely time home with friends and family, and then do whatever you feel like doing really. I'll chip in to support somehow, thank you again, gracias!! Si llegas algún día a Argentina, tendrás a mi familia para recibirte :)

Wow. You INSPIRE me, Greg. Resilience. Perseverance. Seeing how, as I see it, GOD is taking care of you. The right people helping you at the right times. Bits of companionship to encourage you. I loved seeing some of your family. Trust we will see you, sooner than this last wait we “endured” to hear from you. GOD SPEED.
