Brother, you landed the daily double! Two great choices for two different seasons. You picked the same two companies I had been shopping gloves at, the ones I wanted they didn’t have my size, so I need to get back to find them again. Great video, but a great service announcement too; we never have too much gear and we need to replenish items at times after the wear and tear. I think back to all the years wearing nothing on my head but a bandana, never had an issue, but my dad used to get on me reminding me they were never too cool to not wear their helmets in the USMC, so why not smarten up and get used to wearing helmets. He wore his in all the years he rode too. I’ve got two helmets now. So we just need to think about our gear, and get in the habit of wearing it every time out. Good stuff buddy!

@DeBa1226 "Never too cool".. that's good! 😄 I guess I think more about safety gear than I used to. I rode with only one of the small novelty helmets for years. I don't do that much anymore. Maybe it's because I've seen too many wrecks on the "inter-webs." I can't wait to get the First Mfg ones swapped so I can try them out. I think they'll be really comfortable, but I like the I.R. ones, too. Will definitely be giving some feedback on both after I use them for a bit. I appreciate you watching, and I hope you can find that size you're needing. ✌️

@@Southern_Hogz Yeah I’ll be shopping them for my size. I’ve got several of IR neck gaiters and they are outstanding, hold their shape and elasticity. In the cold or in the summer to keep the heat and sun off, they work. First Mfg, man I took a leap of faith and bought one of their custom vest, designed it how I liked it, paid a little xtra for their premium leather. Nervous because custom orders you can’t return if the fit isn’t what you want, so I rolled the dice, along with a discount code I had that helped take the jump. Took a while to get, but when it arrived and I opened that box, the smell of that leather was off the charts! The quality was far and away the best leather riding gear anywhere. The fit was perfect, just one small miss on my part… they had an option to add a lower zipper on each side so when you sit in the saddle the vest doesn’t ride up on you; unzip the sides lightly, and it’ll ride perfect. I didn’t order that option and wish I had. So I’ve got a local alterations place who can fix that for me, but their premium leather is second to none.

@DeBa1226 I've got their Lowrider leather vest for summer. I absolutely love it! Best fitting vest that I've ever owned! Their quality is second to none. I've seen the side zippers that you're talking about, and that would be a great thing to have on any vest. I hope you can get them added to yours. Much better than having one to ride up on you or bunch up in the middle!

I always wear gloves! Your hands are your first line of defence!!! I use a summer pair and have a gauntlet pair!! Although old you only have to buy them once!!! I have never tried Indy Ridge but heard good things!!!

I do like those I.R. gloves! In my 24 years of riding, I've probably rode .25 miles without gloves. I never ride without gloves. But I have ridden without a helmet. Funny how that goes... We all know the risk. To each his own right?!. Thanks for showing them off.

I always wear gloves. Once you're used to wearing them, you don't feel right without them. Same with my modular helmet.

My old gloves I couldn’t use the touch screen plus they were kinda thick, I use them for cold and I bought new summer pair with touch fingers, about time for some new ones, good review 🤙🏽

@SouthernBoyzRyde Got to keep those hands covered! 😄 And yeah, both of these have touch-screen compatible fingertips on the thumb and forefinger. The pair I've been using for cold riding don't have that. I'll let you know how they do. 👍

Great video bro! I agree with you it’s really important to wear good protective gear. I know the Harley Davidson culture has always been about the freedom to do what you want for example not wearing a helmet in my state. However, I am a fan of helmets and a small amount of body protective gear because I want more years of that freedom. Leather gloves are great and once you wear them for a period of time they get softer and feel much better on your hands. I will say they are not as good when trying to use your phone as a Thrashin glove but they do actually protect your hands from more than the sun. Great video as always. Look forward to seeing how you like the first mfg once you exchange them.

Leather gloves will feel small but after about a week of use theyll be perfect.

@derfskittlers6125 They will stretch out some, but I felt like these were a little TOO snug. I had a pair once that never did get comfortable for me, so I'm swapping these out. I may end up regretting it, but I hope not. I appreciate the input, and thanks for watching!
