I'm 30 seconds into the video and I hear you say some people think your reviews are too long? Well, I just wanted to say I don't think they are, and I appreciate all the time and effort you put into these reviews. The way I see it, the more into the better. Keep up the good work Chris.

I much prefer the long format videos. I can skim through them if they're too long with a simple press of the right arrow key. One suggestion to appease those that think they're too long - a 'rapid fire' style video. No fluffs, just facts and a quick summery.

No! Not too long! I like all your editorial add-ons in your videos because I learn from just listening to your comments. Your comments, in turn, are based on your experience and that of your customers. Don’t change a thing, damn it!

Talking with your hands is not a great habit to have when reviewing gloves. All of that movement makes it difficult to see the detail of the gloves. Perhaps something to be mindful of for the future.That being said, I do appreciate your reviews please keep them coming.

Awesome video! I have the Held Airstream glove and I must say I love them. Three seasons and sometimes in winter. The best glove I've ever had on. Craftsmanship is superlative . So comfortable. What are your thoughts on them? Best!

Again, a lot of work and some research mixed with personal appreciations. Thumbs up for your work and effort. Still I would like to have chapters or at least the brands and models in a short description. I’m a few minutes in the video and would be interested whether you’ll talk about one specific brand. I already know that you won’t because the brand I think of doesn’t offer you any particular collaboration and I still believe it is one of the better brands out there and genuine English. You know which brand I am talking about and I believe they make the perfect summer glove above everything you presented…. So I cannot agree with your applications on this one.

Chris, your style is great and the content provided is both informative and funny, however, be mindful you are selling gloves here so your usual free flowing arm waving sytle is not great for selling gloves. I could barely see them for a second let alone 60 seconds each. Next glove vid, might I suggest a more static hand pose? Unless that is your cunning plan all along. 🤣

One more failure, too much shadow boxing, UFC ground & pound , I can't see any glove, stop shaking and waving the hands and give us more close up. I like your shop, shirt, vest, cap but.... 91% of screen is all but gloves. Plus, rest 9% is shaken most of time

Sorry but I stoppes watching @2.32, and I have to say thats a first. Less informative than simply reading the spec sheet, we can all do that. Chris, for the love of God don't change, keep doing what you do and do far better that anyone else, it is and always will be a winning formula. (also a first, gave this vid the thumbs down) Normal service will resume shortly, I hope...

Not sure that’s what I was doing. You should perhaps have persevered. I was overtly critical of at least a third of the gloves; and I am sure I didn’t get that from the manufacturers’ spec. sheets! CP

For crying out loud, if you’re going to review gloves with no separate product close ups then stop waving your hands around non stop in every single pair like a mad man. Infuriating when the viewer is trying to focus on the actual item in question. Surely the camera man should have advised you?!
@tomjefferson18635 ай бұрын
The purpose of the glove is to protect the hands, but that is not being talked about. WHY !! The hands are often the first thing to hit the pavement in an attempt to break the fall.if all we are interested in is comfort then just take the dam things off!! Get with it. 🫤😲
@The-Splat5 ай бұрын
Indeed, MotoCAP test results show that gloves with similar comfort and feel can provide highly different protection levels. Safety is one of the chief criteria many of us use when choosing our gloves (alongside fit, comfort, etc.).
@Motolegends5 ай бұрын
All gloves have to meet the same standard, so we kind of take that for granted. And the fact is that if it was all about protection, we’d all buy the same glove. Protection is a sina qua non, but that being a given the difference for most people is comfort. Find a glove that you is comfortable, and you’ll be able to ride for hours in it, without distraction, and therefore with full concentration, hopefully making an accident less likely in the first place. We do this for a living. And we know that be it a glove, a boot, a helmet, a jacket or a pant, protection is just one of the criteria when it comes to buying gear. Even we get upset when all people seem concerned about is whether their gear matches the bike, or how they look in the mirror. But as for protection being the only criterion that’s both naive and a touch self-righteous. Welcome to the actual world, inhabited by human beings! CP
@The-Splat5 ай бұрын
@@Motolegends While I agree that safety isn’t the sole criterion, gloves don’t all meet the same standard because three protection levels exist (1, 1 KP and 2). Moreover, many customers look for gloves with scaphoid sliders - a feature you’ve usually been good about mentioning in previous videos. You have at least one customer interested in safety; I plan to make the long trip to Guildford to check out Five TFX1 GTX gloves because they’re Level 2, and Motolegends is among the few places I can try them on.
@The-Splat2 ай бұрын
@@Motolegends There are three protection standards: CE Level 1, Level 1 KP, and Level 2 KP. Moreover, MotoCAP test results show not all gloves offer the same protection. Motolegends is an excellent source of highly rated gloves, e.g. Klim gloves with high MotoCAP scores and CE Level 2 gloves from Five. You’ve had customer feedback that we want to hear about this in your videos. In the “actual world,” I have a highly relevant professional education and background and have also been first on the scene of motorcycle crashes. Your expertise is in retail - please don't conflate that with evidence-based medicine or being a materials scientist. I was disappointed by the tone of your reply, and I never said that safety was the sole criterion. I explicitly stated that protection is one of the criteria, alongside fit, comfort, and other factors.
