You are so right, my first position was an admin for a VP of an insurance company. I thought it was a stepping stone into other fields which it was but I was so unhappy in those other positions. Think long and hard before you leave the Admin Asst or Executive Asst field. Instead focus on your development instead of throwing it away for something that sounds sexier at a cocktail party.
