8:30 So with Mona's burst the enemies get an constelation effect and they kind of down. They are not dancing, they are drowning😭 Her burst boosts the burst of other characters aswell. It's a bit hard to explain but what i tried to say , they were not dancing...they were drowning

Theres definitely a lot of lore to this game. There's a mixture of all cultures, mythology, religion, and more influences in the game. Each nation represents a country, or multiple countries. Like how Liyue is China, Monstadt is german, Sumeru is india/middle east, and so on. Even the bad guys, the harbingers, are based on Commedia Del'arte, "Italian comedy" which is used a lot in opera; essentially, something that harlequin and the joker is based on. And you even got norse mythology in it as well. And the great thing about this game is, you can beat practically everything without spending money on the game. It's a free game too.

I've played LOL for 8 years, and now also a Genshin player. I remember back then, when I look at the league I always wondered when I can see a Chinese company really devoted to making a high-quality game. Hoyoverse did not disappoint. Though it is a different style from LOL, the music, lore, and all the environment design are just so beautiful. I also gave up for some time back when it first launched, I think it has a steeper learning curve. But I am so glad I got back into the world of genshin!

There are big differences in the trailers for 4-star and 5-star characters. The ones for 4-stars usually start off by showing the character's element and name, while a 5-star trailer is more cinematic. Diona is actually a great utility character: Her Skill provides a shield, and her Burst heals. She doesn't hit as hard as other archers, but she's young. Give her about 8 years, and she'll be as deadly as Ganyu, I'm sure. Mona's Skill (the cute one) is a taunt, and her Burst traps enemies in its effect for a limited time, or until you attack them. She is also one of two characters with a long-term Special Sprint, which is great for crossing water. The other is Ayaka. She has a free alternate costume. Keqing is kind of underappreciated because Electro isn't as strong as Pyro, but her short-ranged teleportation is very useful, and I find her Burst to be quite fun. Her alternate outfit is perfection. Tartaglia has a huge fanbase in Japan, and he was also the first full-on man who was playable. The prior male characters were all teens. His Skill acts as a stance switch, so he can do melee attacks, which also means his Burst changes depending on if he does melee or ranged. But the cooldown on his Skill is long and annoying. He's pretty hard to master, but those who know how to use him have a lot of fun with him. I don't tend to use him, because there are easier Hydro characters, and those with more utility, available. But he's still pretty cool. Still, _HI3_ has a character called 'Herrscher of Sentience' who uses _three_ weapons, so she has Tartaglia beat. Ganyu is one of the top DPS in the game thanks to her double-charged attack, although having to wait for a full charge on that annoys some people, so she's not for everyone. I like her, though. She hits like a rocket launcher. She's balanced by being a glass cannon, however that's only relevant if you let her get hit. Her Skill is a taunt, and her Burst is super-wide. If you put a shield on her too, she's practically untouchable. Hu Tao is another of the game's big DPS, however Xiangling is a good substitute if you need one. Fans call her ghost 'Boo Tao.' Hu Tao is the director of the Wangshen Funeral Parlour, which makes her Zhongli's boss. So when she says 'guess I'll have to send you off myself?" she really means it. She's got a strange sense of humour, and likes doing pranks, but she means well. People love her cute design. Her JP VA voices Megumin. Fun fact: because of Hu Tao's association with death, her release (around the time of Lantern Rite Festival) was practically unannounced, because it was considered bad luck to talk specifically about her. She is also the first character in the game to have a weapon specifically designed for her, although others can also use the Staff of Homa. Not so fun fact: The Weapon Banner is not low-spender friendly. But at least it's better than it was. I still feel Tectone's pain. Zhongli was released right after Tartaglia, so we got two dudes back to back. And fans melt for _all_ his voice actors. He's got the strongest shield in the game, and still people complained, so Mihoyo buffed him. He made the team so untouchable they had to add a mechanic to enemies that ignores defenses and does direct damage over time. But Zhongli's still crazy strong, defensively. If you want an unbeatable team, you pair him with characters like Ganyu or Hu Tao. Until the introduction of Corrosion, people basically forgot how to dodge thanks to Zhongli's and Noelle's shields. You're gonna love Eula's story since you're so into lore. Plus, she's lots of fun to play as since dance is fully incorporated into her fighting style, and unlike most other claymore users, she's _fast_ , only matched by Diluc, really. The sword she has here is called _Song of Broken Pines_ . There's a similar-designed one-handed sword called _Freedom Sworn_ , but both are only accessible through the Weapon Banner. There's a claymore you get in Dragonspine that's a suitable substitute if you don't have the resources to pull for it. _Broken Pines_ and _Freedom Sworn_ are the first 5 star weapons I actually went after and got. Kazuha and Venti are two characters who get the most utility, because not only do they cause Swirl with their element, they're also great for exploring. Both have means of drawing groups of enemies closer, and both are fun to play, although maybe they make things a little _too_ easy sometimes. I like Kazuha better than Venti because Venti's Burst tends to carry enemies away. But they're both good. There _are_ different species in the game. Just wait until you meet Liyue's Adepti. I mean, you already know Xiao and Ganyu, but the others. Yanfei is a younger Adeptus, and she finds a different place in Liyue society, as well as having a different attitude. Qiqi's a Chinese jumping zombie. Klee's an Elfkin. Diona's a catperson, called a Katzlein. And there's more, as you'll see.

Albedo's element is Geo. He creates a Geo flower construct on the field, and within this flower's AoE when you attack enemies you deal additional Geo damage to them. Which means he is an off-field sub-DPS. All of the things he said about the origin of life and so on don't really factor into his playstyle - it's relevant to his lore. He is an alchemist, and his specialty is creation of artificial life (the pinnacle of alchemy). Xiao isn't possessed by demons. Rather, it's his karmic debt that causes him great suffering. If you are curious you can look up the video called "Story Teaser - Yakshas: The Guardian Adepti". You could say that Ganyu is a different species. She is half human, half qilin. Hence the horns.

nice reaction! and welcome to genshin, read every quest and enjoy it at your own pace, the lore in this game is great and there's ton of details you'll see that even simple non playable NPC's sometimes change according to quests. The only unfortunate thing about genshin it's their special events, some do come back but some are very unique and contain a lot of lore and character story. For exemple you as a new player will never know the story behind Xiangling meeting Gouba, her little bear. The event in question was teh Moonlight Merriment, maybe they will do another of the same but the story content will not be the same anymore. Perharps you should check the past events videos or infos and there's also special cutscenes for most of the old event contents on Genshin's official youtube channel

Albedo is a geo (earth) character. Earth is like rock, crystal, mineral, etc, in this context- separate from Dendro which is plants, trees, etc. Albedo’s magic is a bunch of geo crystals that explode on enemies, and he gets an AOE radius that buffs other geo damage. Narratively he’s an alchemist, which is what that monologue about birth and life was about. Xiao isn’t possessed by demons, rather he is a sort of demon slayer, and as part of his responsibilities he receives a karmic debt of sorts that causes him to suffer spiritually. He is not meant to be around mortals for very long because you could say that it’s contagious, except mortals cannot withstand it like he can.

I dare to say Zhongli is the fan fav male character, if not the fan fav amongst all characters (could be Raiden Shogun). Like I'm a straight guy, but I'm also into him (and Venti, Xiao, Kazuha). When she said Genshin Lore I instantly weant to Keaya. There's so much lore surrounding him- many theories and predictions. What's under the eye patch is a very big question as well. After people finding out he's from Khaenri'ah, many predicted who is exactly he was. One theory being he was the Prince of Khaenri'ah, others being that he was a normal civilian or Abyss Mage.

Xiao came out before inazuma, in Liyou, he is part of elite warrior adepti, called Yaksha, as the Vigalent yaksha, he has Anemo(wind) powers, attacking with spear he lunges forward for his elemental skill, and his Elemental Burst has him put on the yaksha mask, which drains his health continously, while giving him super strength,affecting jumps, attacks.

Eula IS gourgeuos. I tried her in her Character Quest, even her fighting is so elegant and beautiful depite the big as sword. I want her so bad. And you liking Childe and saying you would definitly use him Is like Same XD. I also tried him in his Character Quest, and he needs a bit more technic to use, but seems really good if you know how to play him.

the lore wont disappoint, my advice is save your fragile resin no matter what, save primos for characters you want, look up the order the banners will be in, use the expeditions to get what you need most, try not to use all of your character level up materials at once, and theres probably more i cant think of

If you like _Genshin_ , you'll probably like its older sister, _Honkai Impact 3rd_ (first release was in 2016). If you wanna check it out, I recommend the version trailers and 'Honkai Chronicles: Mobile Operations Centre,' as they're non-spoilery. Most of the animated shorts are baked into the game's story, so they're full of spoilers and better experienced as part of the game. But 'Reburn,' 'Bronya,' and 'Winter Memories' are fairly spoiler-free, so you're free to look at those. _HI3_ is more a mobile 3D actioner (with a PC port), however it also contains open world modes, the best of which is called 'A Post-Honkai Odyssey' or 'APHO.' _HI3_ is also a multimedia experience, so if you want the background, there's all the manga series too. The anime series, _Cooking With Valkyries_ and _ELF Academy_ are not connected to the game's story.

Honestly i love the lore. A big part of the lore is questioning the "good" gods and rulers of the world and unrevealing there mistakes and flaws. Its just refreshing that there isnt a "pure"/"good" site and youre not even certain if youre doings are even good

Also compared to most comments I'd like to offer up some contructive critism when it comes down to Genshin. Or at least things about the game you really need to know. First of the game can get really boring if you blaze through it but at the same time you need to be able to spend multiple hours each week otherwise you're hardly making progress. The grind to level up characters to the maximum is one of the most hardcore grinds I've ever experienced. Also the game is heavy on FOMO ( Fear of missing out ) you can easily miss events and exclusive items if you don't play regularly.

@@georgieegames IM the one who thanks YOU,i always love to see people’s reactions and opinions on what i like,makes me less insecure in my taste in games 💀 Jokes aside this game has SO much lore and it’s actually really sad,much of the lore is hidden though so that’s a shame,anyways if you like lore i REALLY recommend watching videos on the lore/playing the game and possibly even reading it’s manga (yes the game does have a manga,but it was only released at the beginning of the game and talks about stuff we don’t see in the game but that are apart of the lore,also i do need to caution you that the company that makes this game really makes it a point to give you depression while playing this game and another game of theirs called Honkai,same goes for the manga as it’s really sad,anyways my point is to not let the anime style cute aesthetic of the game fool you as it is actually REALLY sad,even a NPC we only see once has a sad backstory bruh)

Genshin being completely free isn't something to be surprised about. Well made Gacha games easily make bank compared to the overal cost of the game. As for Genshin it has already grossed more then 4 billion dollars as of March this year.

The game is free, but it is a gacha game. Its VERY easy to go a little nuts on spending on this game for some people. Character banners can bring in rediculous levels of revenue for Hoyoverse. Some recent reruns have earned them over 30 million a piece. When your product is making you 11.5 million dollars a week, its easy to fund making it look really good :) You commented on the music. Trust me, the music quality in this game is INCREDIBLE. You think it looks pretty, but goddamn the sound will blow you away.
