It is. In Anthony's daily commission questline, he mentions an "incredible doctor in Liyue Harbor who is especially skilled at curing the incurable". It's just that it sounded so much like a scam with all the unusual ingredients needed for the medicine that most people didn't even bother retaining that detail about the doctor, and thusly don't recall it when the medicine ended up working.

The sad back story is... unfortunately VERY common. I can only think of 2 or 3 characters off the top of my head that don't have tragedies in their stories. Inazuma on is when it gets rough. Many people of all ages and genders have cried during this game, so don't feel bad. They do a fantastic job at storytelling, and the reactions players have are solid proof. I highly recommend watching Arlecchino's Animation as well, it tells A LOT about her and why she's the way she is.

This might be a game, but IRL in Japan and I'm guessing also China and Korea, gold in-laid chopsticks made very special are usually wedding gifts that people purchase for around $100 - $200 U.S.D. Its likely already been mentioned but the is a early Teaser Tralier for Xiao that alot of playlists leave out, includeing apparently this one. As it does contain some early game spoilers, but at the point your at with your playthough it would be good to check out as you now will know most of its reveals and it will add come extra context to a quest later on. Manga is a must read before Sumeru, but story teasers are mostly in game cutscenes with MASSIVE spoilers. I recommend not checking them out since you'll see them with context eventually, unless someone makes a list of those from events that are no longer available only. There is also a few animated shorts that gives bits of lore on characters or groups, sometimes with songs (copyright free) if you want to check that out (The Arlecchino one is amazing)

if you want to know more about Timmie's lore, you need to set your commissions on Mondstadt, and do commissions everyday, Timmie story come by parts. you can also learn about the siblings on Baizhu's teaser thru Mondstadt commisisons. a lot of npc lore are locked on doing commissions everyday. the painful thing is, it's based on RNG whether you can complete their stories by doing comms in 1 month or 2 or more 🤣
