New Global Video Track in PreSonus Studio One Version 6

In this video, I take a look at working with the new Global Video track - with a focus on how to properly set up your Studio One song, including; setting the proper frame-rate, using frame-rate off-sets to correctly match your Video's timecode, working with 2 PoP's, timecode burn-ins, and aligning your Bar 1 to the first frame of action.
In addition, I also go over the new "spot" feature in the event menu.

@@ridinglow6732 Sorry if I sounded like that, it's just that, if you're working with video (as I do for 20 years), you kinda need to be able to import OMF's into your sessions. No other way around it. Otherwise, all audio features of S1 are great and I prefer it over Pro Tools.

Hi! Thanks a bunch for the video. It's a bit complicated and I don't understand certain aspects. Like how do I set the tempo for the video track so that I might know when I need to give a transition or an effect according to changes in the video? I'm unable to move the bar to the timeline using the command key. It's not moving at all. Could you also please tell me how to set the time code for the video if the video doesn't have a time code. I want to compose music for video as I am a composer. Thank you.

Hi Markus. I am using S15, and I am planning to join Sphere Membership, my question is this, if I decided to cancel my membership (let's say) after 6 months, what will happen to my songs, plugins etc. which I got from Sphere, WILL I REVERT BACK AGAIN TO S15? Need some clarification before joining. The price difference of upgrade to V6 and joining Sphere is not that high, with the price difference it better to join Sphere but I need to know first what I am getting into. You need to learn more about Studio One since you're asking for things that are there. For example, you can disable the plugin scan at startup and your Studio One will load in seconds. That is, I assume you're not loading from a hard disk.

Studio One 6 reduces the audio quality of a video when exporting the video. 👎 Presonus Support explains: "Studio One exports MP4 as variable bitrate (VBR) to keep the file size small. Therefore the quality has changed. In order to keep the full quality, you need to export the audio in the desired format, sample rate, bitrate, etc. and sync it with proper video editing software. "🤔 Presonus thinks that's OK. but maybe that would change if a certain number of people actually didn't want any loss of quality when exporting. Strange!👎
