My doe loves to kick so I milk with one hand and hold the bucket with the other. It's been awhile since she was dried off and just gave birth 2 days ago. I normally kid share, but due to an infection she can't nurse her kids, which were adopted by my other doe who also gave birth the same day. I got almost a quart of milk this morning, which is impressive since they're Nigerians.

It's a chanticleer and the only way I know how to say that word is from By the Light of the Silvery Moon with Doris Day and Gordon MacRae if you like musicals that's a great movie

Before I had my milk cow I had goats. I hope in your next video you show that coffee has lots and lots of milk, but it looks like she's dried off to me. Hopefully your other goats will kid very soon!

I add alfalfa pellets and BOSS to my goat's dairy ration and it seems to make a difference in production, especially in winter when they're only on hay.

36.05 made me laugh so hard, Kate‼️ Coffee looked like she had a huge smile on her face and the other goats were looking over the gate at you repeating the word 'Crock pot' over and over was hilarious. Great video again lovely.🥰Take care and all the best from the UK 🇬🇧.

Hey Kate loved the video on first goat milking 😍 but just curious 🧐 I saw and electric ⚡️ drop cord ?? In goat pen … wouldn’t that be pretty dangerous if goats 🐐 either chew on it or get tangled up in it ?? So happy you are sharing the meat & helping with butcher of that cow for your large family friend ❤️ I’m sure they were so appreciative!! Good folks good community 😁

I know it's tedious but you can milk her several times a day to bring her supply up then go back to 2 milkings a day.

First off I love your videos!! But I had a question on the butchering of the beef cow. We usually let them hang two weeks about, you guys only for a couple days, how does that work out with tenderness and flavor?
@VenisonforDinner2 жыл бұрын
This cow was going into burger which is why we didn't hang it for longer.
