@forjarsusa has a sale ending today I wanted to make sure you saw! Any purchase over $50 gets 1 dozen small mouth AND 1 dozen wide mouth. On top of that you can stack my code VENISON for 10% off. And! And! Every order over $50 gets entered into their massive $2k giveaway 🙌🫶 . As for how to can salmon? Pretty simple! Stuff raw salmon in clean jars- bones skin and all! It disintegrates with pressure canning and adds so much fat and calcium!! 75min for pints at the pressure needed for your elevation . To be honest…i think raw pack proteins are easier than jam to can too! #foodinjars #forjars #canningseason #salmoncanning #cannedsalmon

Marius, Mac and Hamish were gone moose hunting and out of cell service . I was pregnant and sick. Our new bull was delivered. Our wood/electric furnace wasnt working and we didnt have heat. Our basement flooded. Then a water pipe fitting in our cistern came loose and we didnt have water . One of Marius’ friends who lives nearby saved my tush every time. I think he was here almost every day graciously helping me. This spring he was like oh why didnt you get garlic planted? I was like remember my fall…? And we laughed together . After Marius got home, and we had a discussion about how such a small yet hard to find thing on our furnace left us without heat for 3 days…Marius said “just order the wood cookstove youve always dreamed of…i will figure the rest out” . And guys- he did. Beautiful slate tile and all(lets not count the cusses 🥴🫣) He did all the chimney/install work and the inspector loved it, said he did a top notch job 🙌 . Every person in our house enjoys this beauty. Its a Heco 520 by DS stoves . Our electricity bill was down 30% over winter . Instead of 100lb propane tank every 2 months, it lasted over 6 months . We used 30-40% less firewood than our wood furnace . And we were cozier than ever 🔥 . Getting it in wasn’t simple…Marius twisted his ankle bad (doing something else) and had to pause the install for a while because of it . But would we do it again? In a heartbeat!!!

This is super timely for me, as I just made my very first batch of mead yesterday, using your method from the previous video. I'm at a little under 24 hours and I don't have any bubbling yet. I gather from the notebook you showed in this video that that's to be expected and I have to wait maybe as long as three days?

some people are wasting what they have eaten by not doing anything good with their energy. I am mindful of that. most of my food comes from the water and forest. I am a benevolent man and strive to always put my food to benevolent use.

If nature agreed, what is the longest you would nurse a baby? Like what age would you think is too long? Also, tips for modest nursing in public without smothering your baby?
@VenisonforDinner
@VenisonforDinner 12 күн бұрын
I nursed the first three just over a year. That felt right to me. I dont use nursing covers, i find they draw more attention. You learn how to dress in things that are easier and more discreet to nurse in- like the tank and long sleeve. I will just angle myself away from people as well. In the first month or two its harder to discreetly nurse because baby takes more effort to get nursing
