I actually have another theory to throw out there: I feel like the second poster is heavily hinting at Say Cheese and Die, and the camera being one of he objects. The characters in the photos seems to be in some level of Distress, possibly meaning those were taken by the evil camera. By the way, absolutely loved the video.

From what we know so far, my guess is that the kids in this series are the children of the kids from Goosebumps stories. And they have to stop the monsters that their parents had to deal with. That's what I think the whole thing is gonna be.

She/They (Carly Beth Caldwell is female, but The Haunted Mask on its own is an it with no defined gender outside of its hosts) is everyone's favorite, besides Slappy, of course.

If it is official, not a big fan of Slappy's new look... I wish he would be like the old TV serie, or the new movies or even his cartoon representation! But there are many other dummies in the Goosebumps universe, and some could even be allies! On top of my head there is : - Mr. Wood (or Wally, some may think they're the same character) from "The Night of the Living Dummy" - Dennis (From "The Night of the Living Dummy 2", since he disapeared at the end but was an ally) - Rocky (From "The Night of the Living Dummy 3", also was an ally at the end) - Snappy (Slappy's evil twin) And let's not forget about Mary-Ellen from "The Bride of the Living Dummy", that I would love to see come back!

I think Mark Hamil could work as slappy, because Slappy's laugh (mostly in goosebumps haunted halloween) is similar to Joker's laugh (also Slappy's outfit kinda looks like the joker in one of the new posters)

Hey i have a theory of the house in the second poster. While it could be a reference to Dead House, as Dead House was the very first Goosebumps book, did you ever think about The Ghost Next Door? And for the weird white mask, THE PHANTOM!

I don't how they'd tackle _Ghost Next Door_ since Hannah Fairchild-Stine became Zach Cooper's girlfriend in the 2015 film after Jack Black's version of R.L. Stine wrote another manuscript that brought Hannah back to life after she willingly sacrificed herself to trap the other monsters back into the book the main heroes had written to seal them away.

Somebody doesn't realize that Slappy himself isn't even the worst dummy in his family (for that, we have Slappy's big brother Mr. Wood/Wally from the first _Night of the Living Dummy_ book, Mary Ellen as Slappy's jealous supposed Bride-to-Be from the Goosebumps 2000 book _Bride of the Living Dummy_ & its corresponding television episode, and even his own "Evil Twin" Snappy in more recent stories, even though Slappy's already pretty menacing on his own).

My theory is that the dummy in the first image is actually Rocky from Night of the Living Dummy 3 because he is wearing a hat that looks similar to the one Rocky wears and we can see he looks friendly, this could be because he got redeemed at the end of the story.

How can that be if The Haunted Mask forever sees Carly Beth as its favorite host? Face it, Carly Beth will always be the one to be troubled by the leering green goblin mask (she's certainly no Norman Osborn, but the fact remains, The Haunted Mask is green-colored & is goblin-like) she bought that fabled Halloween. In fact, in _The Scream of The Haunted Mask_ featuring her most recent main character appearance (as in the other more recent stories, such as the _Horrorland_ spinoff book series, she's a supporting character, but is still the main protagonist who has had the most stories written about her), Carly Beth officially put The Haunted Mask on for the 3rd (and final) time, with The Haunted Mask even willingly merging with its wearer to thwart the even more problematic ghost of Laura Henry (a former host of The Haunted Mask who reveled in causing chaos, only for her to die because of her relishing in The Haunted Mask's malevolent power when she caused a horse stampede to crush her underfoot, yet she returned from the grave specifically to reclaim The Haunted Mask back, only for Carly Beth to put The Haunted Mask on & basically fight Evil with Evil, thereby forcing the ghost to repeat the events which caused her death all over again before finally dissipating, whereas Carly Beth was spared this fate thanks to having carrots in her pocket that acted as a Symbol of Love, at least for the phantom horses anyway, subsequently letting her take The Haunted Mask off again), however because she's now canonically worn it 3 times (since wearing it 3 times would make the fusion between the mask & its wearer irreversible, per The Shopkeeper's cautionary warning in the first _Haunted Mask_ book), The Haunted Mask should now permanently be Carly Beth's new face, which means that she ought to be put under the corruptible influence of The Haunted Mask forever!
