At 22:30 I think I saw a thrips walking across the new majestic leaf. Could be something else but still worth checking. :)

Hi James, Cyrtosperma johnstonii is a semi-aquatic aroid, it can be grown in ponds, I recommend fully submerging the rhizome. I have mine in a glass filled with leca and topped with water - when I converted the plant from soil to this, it activated several growth points on the rhizome and grew new leaves. Good luck with the plant, it’s stunning :)

Honestly James, you should have so many more subscribers than you do . Always look forward to your videos and really really enjoy them. Your content deserves to be way up there.

I know this is 'an 'older'' video but I just recently watched Plant Me Ashley talk about how to get variegation back on Ilsemanii (something about fertilizer) so I would recommend that if you haven't already gotten that info 🙂 I think the video was about 5 types of variegation or virus in your houseplants.

Lovely plants :)) I'd love to see the process of pollinating the anthuriums or cross pollinating different species and then how the seeds looks like and how to grow them :)

Moving is so hard on Aroids. Looks like yours are getting back on track. I moved 500m across the road last year and it still messed my plants amd environment up. Took a while to settle in. Your Anthurium Pallidiflorum is amazing. Im so jealous. 🤭😍💚

Hi James, what is the dimensions of your grow tent? Do you reccomend 2 different grow lights of different intensities if grow tent is big enough, to accomodate plants of different light needs? What grow lights do you recomment? Thanks.

Very beautiful plants and you are doing great taking care of them 😊but when do u take them our of the hot box to just enjoy them or do u do this for selling and trading 😀

I enjoy seeing how beautifully they grow in the tent - it isn't usually this warm (we're having a heatwave) so it's normally fine for me to spend hours in there looking after them. Like I said at the start of the video this is about half of the plants I have - all of the others are out in my home conditions or in other containers around the flat. To me the health of my plants is currently more important than putting them in aesthetic spots. Thanks for watching!

What size is your grow tent? I’ve been debating getting a 150x150x200cm, but don’t know how difficult it’ll be to keep warm in a basement 😅
