Hi friends! I am so excited to introduce you to the newest eyeshadows from Guerlain! These are the Guerlain Ombres G Eyeshadow Palettes. I have the shade 530 Majestic Rose and I will be doing a full review and in depth comparison of the formula and color story with other popular brands in my collection including Dior, Tom Ford, and Suqqu.

Hello Sofia 🥰 Ohhh I'm def intrigued by these! I always associate Guarlain with their bronzers and meteorites, not eyeshadows 🤔 However, I've been following Violette for ages and trust that she'll deliver as their new director! ❤ The packaging looks luxe, the look you created was absolutely gorgeous. If they become widely available I'll be looking at these more, check out the other color stories etc., especially if they are similar to the TF wet-dry formula and Dior formula - the two formulas I want to try the most 🙌😍 As always, thank you so much for a fantastic review, comparisons, swatches. I think it is a carbon copy of Japanese eyeshadows lime Kanebo Lunasol and Suqqu. Including the embossed Guerlain in one of the eyeshadow pans. They are going for the asiatic market and realising the popularity these are taking in the western market.

I can definitely see some similarities there. I am not convinced that that formula is the same but I agree I think this will be very popular with the asian market

Good morning Sofia!!! These look stunning! Now I do have hesitation due to the 6 month shelf life. I know Dior has that and I didn't buy any of their quints for a long time and then I asked people if the formula is still good after 6 months. What are your thoughts?

I know it sounds so ridiculous for it to have a 6 month shelf life. I am not too worried because as you said, Dior has the same thing and I haven't had any issues. They still perform well after 6 months

Why do these shadows only last 6 months? I was a bit surprised to see that, since most last a year or two. What makes them last so little?

I’ve had them for over 6 months and I have no issues. They still work great. Sometimes brands use fewer preservatives and judge the dates based on if you were to keep them stored in the worst conditions
