NEW! Guerlain Terracotta le Teint Glow Foundation: Is it a new favourite for my over50 mature skin?

🥰UPDATE : Today I wore this again for 12 hours and added some powder ( Hourglass pressed powder in Dim Light) on my nose and mid brow. It wore brilliantly and was glowy but not shiny. I also wore a lighter moisturiser underneath as this is beautifully hydrating. I find this lovely for my mature skin ( good shade range too, I think ) and by far the best glowy foundation I've tried. I'll keep wearing this one and keep you updated. Thank you for watching xx🥰

How does it compare to the new Dior hydra nude? Which one is more skin like and which one would work better for oilier skin? Hydra nude is a little too glowy for my taste

@@KingKikikoi I think this one is more skin like. I honestly think it depends how oily your skin is because this definitely has skincare in it which may be too much for you. The original Le Teint was originally marketed as a Healthy Glow and is now Luminous Matte and I do wonder whether that would be better for you. It's such a great foundation with a featherlight texture and a soft glow as opposed to shine.

Thanks for watching. Worth giving Guerlain a call ( they're very helpful) to see where you can test it in store. I bought mine from their website as no one else had it last week.

Agree I am enjoying it, but I’ve had to try a different shade as the N1 seemed very peach.

Thanks for reviewing this one. Saving money because it’s too glowy and I have an oily t-zone so I’ll stick to the original one which I love.

Thank you for the review - would you say the shade in the glowy is exactly the same as the original? I have to mix 3W & 0.5W to get my perfect 2.5W as they don’t have one unfortunately! I was wondering if I I might be able to get away with either 2W or 3W depending on if it pulled a bit lighter/darker.

Thank you so much for watching this. When I swatch it on my hand there's a slight difference ( Glow is the tiniest smidge deeper) but once applied it's immediately exactly the same. I phoned Guerlain and asked them about the shades compared with the original and they told me the shades are exactly the same and only the finish is different despite the different formulation. I really hope it works for you.

Hello from Greece! I’m not into very glowy foundation but I think I might like this if I powder my T zone. I did read somewhere that it oxidized a little. How was it for you? I would also have liked to see how a powder blusher would behave over the top but that’s just a suggestion. Thank you

@@sallyjones9702 Thank you so much for watching and from a considerably warmer climate than the UK! The colour seemed a little darker than the same shade in the original Le Teint but once on my face it was the same. I've been wearing it nonstop since reviewing it and I'll be doing a January round up where I'll show it with a full face. I really appreciate your feedback - thank you.
