I think it was MAC Cosmetics who had the first inclusive line - colours for every skin tone from day one. They set the stage for inclusivity from way back.

I know for me, they were the first to have foundation with a yellow undertone and that matched my tan skin exactly. Before that everything was pink based and looked terrible on me. Of course back then (1996!) there weren't half the brands that are available now.

What's unique & wonderful about the Danger Zone palette (2nd one) is it's a perfect every day palette for light cool-tone people ☺️ The formula was pigmented (and powdery) but blended on my skin easily, perhaps because I'm used to going in with a light hand... I also picked up the eyeliner & loved it. I didn't notice any blue to it, but that could be from skin color & tone. I was surprised she came out with such basic palettes but I think she started with what she likes to wear. Excited to see what else she does and if she includes cool-tones again! After watching all the GXVE videos, I have to say your work making this video, is in a class of it's own! When I say this, it's has nothing to do with you conclusions about the products, but the way you present the products! Yours videos are so professional made, all the info, Chapters, links, shortcuts ect. are made nicely. I'm in a way better mood after watching your video than before and It doesn't hurt that your look stunning using the products. just remembered one thing!! Your comparison sections. The way your show the different shades on your arm don't make the best way to compare, cause the the way the light fall! It the different part of the test area an advance. If the light come from a source centered from above, you'll give the viewer the best opportunity to choose fairly! I'm impressed.... Keep up the good work!

I picked up the danger zone quad and the matte bullet lipstick. I’m trying them today so I’m glad I saw your video first and know what to look out for. Your final looks we’re both stunning. So glad she nailed the red lip since it’s her signature.

I bought the matte lipstick. I was so excited when Gwen launched it. When I was a teen in the 90's the only makeup I wore was a red lipstick and that's it. I even wore it to my basketball games. I first saw No Doubt after HS and Gwen became my fashion idol. I dressed like her all the time.

The lipsticks look great on you. I have to say although your eyes really pop with the second eyeshadow palette, I really enjoyed your eye look with the first pallet even though it was a lot of work. Those colors totally suit you. But your 2nd look made me think you’re about to attend a Gwen Stefani concert. 🤟🏼

Oooooo, you do be smoking in the 2nd look 😍🔥🔥🔥 As gorgas the 2nd eye look turned, it wasn't without a struggle. This look can be achieved using quite a few different palettes too, so, imo, there's no need to rush out to get it. Your brows look great but the runaway winners are the lippies. They are stunning!!!! I hope she keeps the formulas of all three finishes and goes on to introduce them in many different colours. Just to reiterate - you look so beautiful in look no. 2 (you looked incredibly pretty in look no. 1 too 😉). Love you so much, 💗💗💜💗💗💜💗💗

I’m in love with the red liquid lipstick. Just fyi, I let it dry completely (it takes a few minutes to fully fully dry) and it was transfer proof. If rubbed, it can smudge and transfer, but simple touching or kissing won’t cause transfer. It didn’t survive greasy pizza and salad dressing, but that’s to be expected.

Danger Zone looks bomb on you! Love cool tones. I'm a sucker for a red lip...I love 'em ALL 😁 I ended up splurging on PMG DR1 and Subliminal. I am very late to the game but just had to try them so got those instead. Oh and I picked up the Bare Minerals Blonzer in Rose so I am stoked to share my thoughts on all of these. The other eyebrow pencil “most def” is great. She got the colors perfect in my opinion. So many eyebrow pencils lean warm and hers do not in the two colors I’ve used - cool taupe and neutral blonde. It’s also easy to use. The rounded shape of the tip is different from other pencils. I’m loving this product.

That's good to know about the brow pencil! I passed on it but might rethink it. I end up using a powder & ink (Smashbox Cookie) cause most pencils ball up on me leaving little pieces I have to brush off. If that makes any sense... Did you notice?

This was very helpful. I so far have the liquid lip,just haven't used it yet. I was hoping you'd review the shadows. Your comparisons showed me I don't need them since I have them in my collection. You look beautiful in look 1 and 2,but 2 was the best,very sexy night out look. I might get the oil...🤔

I really like your reviews because they're based on TRUTH and TRUTH alone!!!.....and yes Rihanna has really started giving OTHERS ideas! .......before FENTY, 40 & 50 shades ranges were non existent.....just want make company's to stop using Carcinogenic TALC in powders, foundations ect......

I find the packaging with the logo fonts really gaudy and cheap looking. When I buy higher end makeup, I also like the packaging to look a bit more subtle and pretty. I know this is totally her style, but I guess I’ve never liked her style. Love her red lips but I’m waiting for the day she blows our minds and turns into a bold dark brunette… I glanced at her makeup at Sephora from a distance and my first impression based on just looks at the packaging is what you confirmed in her eyeshadows. I’d rather go for a door matte red than hers

I don’t wear red lipstick much and have some nice reds from Charlotte Tilbury, Pat McGrath. I bought the eyeliner pencils because they had good reviews off the bat. I think there are way too many celebrity brands out there. I have not tried Rare Beauty but Fenty eyeshadows are meh. My favorite beauty item is eyeshadow and there are plenty of fabulous brands from MUAs that really know what they are doing; Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona, Charlotte Tilbury, Viseart, and exciting multichromes from indie brands like Adept Cosmetics, Glamnatrix, Clionadh, ect. We do not need another celebrity brand. Gwen is known for her red lip so it’s great that her red lipstick is good, but now every celebrity wants a line.
