The original Gyeon Tire (the blue one) is absolutely amazing. That stuff easily lasts a month or two on tires and keeps it quite clean and fresh looking. Its also quite cheap and the bottle last for WHILE.

Please don't feel the necessity to respond, as I'm not a big social media person (likes / subscribes / responses / FB and Insta backlinks etc), but I just wanted to shout out to say that early-ish in the video, you sort of alluded to your getting a feel for posting videos, working this whole YT formula out etc.... I DO realise that this vid was posted more than a year ago, so the same might not currently be true. This video was FANTASTIC. The editing came together well, you have GREAT shots of the product at work, explanations re: differences between the products, prep, application, and test conditions, your content is 100% informative whilst also being punchy and concise, and overall this review was a pleasure to watch..... ..... And it's the reason I'm going with the original, vs. the Express, from my local car care online shop down here in Aus. Sh1t, I've watched YT "personalities" who put out videos with a TON of views, and they're just fcking around in their garage, mumbling to themselves, obviously high on narcotics that their new found online wealth has bought them, yapping on whilst FORGETTING to talk about the product that they're meant to be reviewing in their title. This is a good few levels above and beyond those a$$holes. Keep up the good work, and (selfishly for me) most importantly - thank you for enlightening me to spend the extra $4aud for what looks to be a superior product!!!! Stay safe :)

Gyeon highly advises to heat up the tyre with a heatgun/hair dryer right before applying the Q2 Tyre (blue stuff) to make it work and last better. Somehow nobody seem to know that and do it that way...

Both dressings look really great actually. I think the original blue dressing might have some Si02 in it and it's touted as ceramic based and the express is either a thinner version or doesn't have the ceramic component maybe. I wonder if you could apply the Express OVER the blue stuff as a maintenance to the blue stuff?

Great video. More comparisons would be great. One tip for when doing a tire shine comparison that I would say is do one half of the tire with one brand/ formulation and the other half of the tire with the other. Get a close up side by side comparison on one tire

I wouldn't consider that to be copying. It's just the best and easiest way to compare stuff for tires side by side without taking a wheel off of the car

I don't know if its the applicator you are using, but it seems like you are using way too much product per tire. I use a normal tire applicator and it feels like 2-3 squirts of Gyeon dressing would be enough to cover 1 whole tire. Something to consider. Thanks for the video!
@PristineAutoDetailing4 жыл бұрын
Yeah the applicator we used to use needed too much product to be applied. We have since switched and your 100% right! Thanks for watching!!

I did a few years ago but cant remember how well it worked. I am sure the formulations have changed since then. Having used other OPT products I am guessing the tire shine would work well.

Hi. The original will not be shiny if you wipe it off after a while (5-10 minutes). If you just apply it and leave it there, it'll be shiny.

Am I the only one who thinks that you're using waaaaaay to much product? For the Tire Express you only need 2 dots of product on the Gyeon applicator and that's more then enough for 1 tire. I think all the product got socked up by your applicator. Also it's better to use Tire Express on a damp tire instead of a complete dry tire. Try it and you will see...much better finish and not greasy. Let it dry for 60min.m if you can.
