I love this band. they are under-rated. I hope they can gain more traction this year. the drummer is amazing, the twin guitars always sound awesome. the bassist is really solid, love her tone and active bass lines. the cherry on top is the vocals (Uyu) her tone and power is so good. I love it. this song is really good. I enjoy everything I have heard from them over the past year.

I love this band. Agree, the drummer (Kanako) is amazing. As crazy as the female metal talent pool in Japan is, where they really seem to be blowing the doors off is with drummers. Senri, Yoyoka, Akane, Haruna, Kanako, Marina Bozzio, Murata Tamu, Hana, and so many more--its nuts. Hagane are all around 10 years younger than Lovebites, but they have a similar kind of structure and approach, and I see them having the potential to follow in Lovebites' large footsteps.

This is one of their "newer" songs which is in their debut album 'Code ; 9021', released back in August 2022. The recording began sometime in 2021, so I doubt it has anything to do with Lovebites. And Mayto and Sakura are in the same league as Midori & Miyako! Keep an eye on this band!

The Sword ⚔ is used often as their emblem. (They make hand symbols with their hands when they say their name) also "Hagane" means Steel in Japanese.

Sakura and Mayto aren't the first lead guitar duo I bring up, but they are pretty early in the conversation for me. All that's really missing for them is a larger body of work. They are currently popular enough to make a living, so they have the time to actually increase their catalog.

KanaKo is another Japanese female BEAST DRUMMER.. Sakura and Mayto are a great up and comming lead duo two very tallented guitarists, and don't forget Sayaka on Bass, very tallented.. Uyu's vocals are way below par on this one? Not sure why, must be the mixing? because they are usually out standing.. This song is off the album Code;9021 released Augist 18th 2022.. Way befor the Lovebits song?

WOW, you got to this one quickly. I didn't beat you to the Video by much. These girls are really talented. They need to get a little more variety in their composition and they're going to be a force to reckon with in the J-Metal scene. Uyu's vocals are breathtakingly good, and Mayto and Sakura really like to play loooong lead solos. Great Reaction Wave! 👍 *Request:* More Trident, Please! There is much more to the post Junna Trident than Spoopy (and they are a better band with Nagisa instead of Junna - and the the Logo on her bass drum is Trident and not NAGISA). Ambivalent or Cry Out would be right up your alley.

Not a bad song by "Lovebites Lite" but not great either. They're all very talented (esp the drummer) , but I wasn't blown away by this track.

Probably one of my least favourite tracks on the album for me, mainly because of the production and not because of the actual musicians (they are clearly skilled). The music itself (ignoring the vocals) is not really my style as it's the somewhat cheesy type of power metal, but it's ok for what it is. The vocal production just kills it for me, you can hear her voice for 20% of the track and all the rest is her voice mixed with an octave pedal, pitch-correction and a synth (a lot of it in the right ear). I am not surprised people like it, what I don't understand is that people don't seem to hear that you can't hear her actual vocals for the majority of the track (this goes for a lot of Japanese bands actually). You can not hear from these tracks that she can actually sing. Also, that "wohow" part (starting at 5:06) sounds terrible to my ears, it sounds like they used a vocal patch on a keyboard instead of real human beings. The vocal production on most of the track is so processed that I think almost anyone who can somewhat sing can sing most parts on this album and sound good and the worst thing is that she is actually a good vocalist (you can hear it on the parts of the acoustic tracks on the CD that are not that processed). The lower parts in this track sound pretty untouched and they do sound good, but I heard a part I could not stand because it sounded very auto-tuned, It think at 6:31 or 6:32. But I'm still happy to see that a lot of people seem to love their stuff, the more Japanese bands that get a following, the better. I will only give a live set or Blu-ray an other chance (maybe I should just check the 2 DVD's that I own) in the hope that they can redeem themselves live, but otherwise they are just one of these bands that are not for me (and that's ok). I can see them do very well and grow a lot over time. Edit: I quickly skipped through my 2 DVD's and Uyu sounds wishy-washy on the "Oneman Live Chapter 2". Sometimes she was fine and othertimes she is pretty out-of-tune. It sounds way better on the "Hagane 3rd Oneman Live" DVD as it has way better production (and budget), but I have a feeling it also had some light post-production as far as the vocals go. That said, it wasn't super cleaned up, so no full-on pitch-correction and things like that (she is still somewhat off here and there), the thing I heard at first might have been backing track actually. It at least sounds way better than the album and this video. I would gladly watch/listen to that whole set while I have a tough time getting through the full album. So, Hagane is probably a Live-only band for me because of the production on the albums (join the club with Fate Gear and Bridear and I can very well see Lonesome_Blue being an other one).
