I have a feeling the Exchange will have a much more positive and far-reaching impact on the overall experience than anyone thinks. Even if none of the offers appeal to you, you're still earning the ability to unlock something through (mostly) in-game means. That, and the free-moving, post-death camera view, are going to make this game feel so much better to play.

Honestly with 343 seemingly winding down on making content for infinite and the rumors of this happening because of a new halo game/project being worked on, along with the botched launch of infinite. I don't see any reason to spend money on a game that is going to stop being developed soon. It really feels like they have given up and just have a skeleton crew working on it now.

I was kinda hoping that we would get some more cross core options like cross core chest pieces, or arm pieces, or even those armor pieces that go on your thigh. But unfortunately it doesn’t look like 343 intend to add anything else for cross core.(aside from coatings of course)

@@MAGPIELEON Imma keep it real with you Magpie, I think MSFT gets too much hate. They've been VERY hands-off towards 343 and other studios and those studios in turn pump out garbage. See: that one vampire game I forgot the name of. If Microsoft was truly that involved with 343, I don't think Halo 4,5 and Infinite would've released the ways that they did. I don't think MSFT said "make sure there's a challenge to get 30 kills with a shade turret and make sure it only spawns on one map and make sure there's no map voting." "Create some of the ugliest helmets in the franchise and then make a helmet named 'Seeker' be the absolute worst." I can go on of course but you get the point. It's entirely 343s fault. Microsoft only ever gave them a hard deadline for release and then granted them an extra year anyway and we still got an absolutely horrible, unfinished, overmonetized game. It is 343s fault. It is solely 343s fault. (And I mean this in the upmost respect towards you btw, friendly debate!)

That's fair I guess But also very untrue, MS are still pretty hands on. And have caused a ton of issues for 343 and halo such as massive layoffs which caused pretty much all of the story team to be let go (hence the MP story for infinite being cancelled, and no campaign DLC) Microsoft are a TRILLION dollar company mind you, 343 are definitely not the primary issue, I've spoken to 343 Devs and a lot of them are extremely passionate individuals who truly love halo. But unfortunately there's corporate mandates in place, shareholder expectations have to be met, and things simply aren't as simple as some people would have you believe.

That purple and black coating on the tenrai 4 example looks sick. If it's the 500cr item that might be the first of those I actually cop. We definitely need additional ways to earn SP, but I'm not that keen on tying it to leveling up career rank. They'd probably botch retroactively granting for levels already completed and give those of us who are done or nearly done little to nothing left to gain from that, and it's still an inherently capped system once you finish career rank. I'd much rather have match SP or an extra 5-10 bonus tiers to the operation pass (keep the armor achievable on the first 20 tiers, and put another 5-10k SP available after that if you want to grind for them).
