Have to agree with the rake stuff. Even the recreational player will hate a higher rake structure. Gg has a lot of good things going for it, but the rake is getting out of hand. Lets hope it gets better or the players start to change sites. I already had to change away from gg after reaching 50NL, because there are so many better sites to play cash games with smaller rake.

Regarding rake I am surprised there was no race to the bottom among operators yet. Big sites have huge economy of scale, they would be profitable with just a fraction of a current rake that they currently charge. Sooner or later a new "discount" operator will emerge and undercut everybody's rake. It happens in all service industries, will happen in this one too.
