Long live the 505! Just a better layout for actually sailing

haha Love the 505! Though I have to say... 508 is faster,.. and without those blasted toe stubbers in the cockpit at the helms! I matched the new 460 against a 505 upwind a few weeks ago... We sailed higher and about the same speed. though I think they were a touch over powered and we were set perfect. Would have loved to sail them myself side by side lol to see!

This episode somehow has the perfect off/pre season vibe, even though it's June!

Great video! We (two friends and I) sailed a Waqueiez/Centurion 41ft from France to the Northern Part of the Netherlands somewhere in the early 90s or mid 90s. Let's say the wind wasn't to forgiving as this weather is. Luckily the yacht had all we needed for a stormy first trip. (Navionics was non-existent then). The ship is still in use. Somehow, the trips I like most are those from A to B and not returning @ the starting point. Those depths... are quite normal in the waters between the Netherlands and the tip of Denmark. But after sailing the Croatia coast, I'm not too fond of these shallow waters anymore... btw, I love the Martin Landstrom jazz!
