As Memorial Day Weekend drew to a close, and families across American began to return home, the Valley Railroad in Essex, CT ran one last day of passenger trains up the Connecticut River Valley. Hauling the excursions was New Haven #3025, a Chinese-built 2-8-2 that the VRR restored to mimic the appearance of a New Haven steam locomotive. Please enjoy our footage of the day and of #3025!
