DansJets Those people also had the jetway backed up like Seattle traffic too! I was pretty impressed with the new 330 and hope to someday try out the 350 when they become more common among carriers.

Hawaiian won't be getting 350s after all. They ordered the smallest model 350-8 which Airbus then cancelled. Hawaiian will be getting A-330neos (new engine option) instead. An updated version of the current 330, yet to be built.

I remember 2 years ago I went on Hawaiian. It was nice, and our flight attendant was one of the nicest we ever had. More recently, we took a First Class trip on American a year ago.

I recently went from Sacramento to Hilo to help my son move with their dog. United pulled the plug on them because of the dog so we all switched to Hawaiian. Seats much bigger! When I was flying home, I was struggling with my heavy carry on and a cane when a Hawaiian agent grabbed my bag and hustled me to the plane as "priority" and put my bag up and helped me to my seat. SOLD!

How would you rate the whole vacation package deal? I've read some nightmare stories about booking the hotel/air package thru their vendor neatair.

DJRosco82 I wouldn't book the whole package on Hawaiian's site again! They allowed me to pick my seats at nearly 3 months out and within a month HA split up me and my wife on different parts of the aircraft. I understand changes happen, but I had booked pretty far out and it was a big headache of a phone call to get it all sorted out. HA's customer service told me I should've booked the airfare separately through them if I decide to be seated by my loved ones on my next flight than through their vendor. To be honest, upon booking the package on Hawaiian Air's site, it's difficult to tell you're booking through a partnered vendor. I've had much better customer service calls on Expedia/Travelocity even with the customer service centers being in other parts of the world than I did dealing with the folks at neatair. Other than that gripe, everything else worked out as planned.

My mom booked a package thru AAA for our last family trip to HI. Three of them(mom dad and my WWII vet Gramps) flew """first class""" on a different airline-BOS-PHX-HNL. My wife and I couldn't make that oversold flight so we booked Hawaiian. We flew BOS-JFK-HNL and we actually had MORE legroom and food than they did on the other airline!

Been on a flight like this. It was absolutely terrible. My tray table wasn't properly fixed so it would just fall down every 5 minutes when the kids in front of us would start wailing. Really bad. Terribly compact. 47 rows instead of 41. The hospitality was atrocious, and they would pack all the kids and families in 1 or 2 rows. 2/10 from me. They even came and sprayed quarantine spray at the end of the flight!

Delta only puts 41 rows while Hawaiian puts 47 rows on the same A330. Another word, Hawaiian packs passengers like sardine can, on top of that you have to pay for in flight movies. I would fly Alaska instead of Hawaiian.

I live in Hawaii so I experienced a lot from there aircrafts. I would rather fly Hawaiian much better because you will be In a 737 witch is a tight aircraft for 5 hour flights, also Hawaiian has more legroom than Alaska and Hawaiian got better food. Hawaiian is the best flight carrier to the islands. Even for the Inter island flights there 717s got a lot of leg room. Also Hawaiian airlines is very busy and when ever you book a flight all the seats are almost full, there very busy now.

Having flown several times on Hawaiian Airlines A330's from Australia to Oahu and back, I can confirm they don't charge you for the inflight entertainment for International flights. It's all unlocked and free.
