I just dont understand how someone could be that non-knowledgeable. idk maybe I'm just speaking from my experience as someone that has common sense, but every time I buy/try out a new character the first thing i do is go into the advanced menu and read what all the abilities do and stuff. Then I go into the shooting range and fuck off for like 10-15 minutes just getting a feel for the character.

@@Luxgen-mp5bb idk I see a good amount of moji players (for reference, I don't touch ranked I just play casuals). I see more of her than many of the other flanks. Like I see moji more than VII, lex, vatu, talus, caspian, and kasumi. Hell I hardly even see people play zhin these days. The only flanks I see people play regularly are Skye, Buck, Koga, Maeve and Andro. Vora and Evie I see sometimes, but still not that much.

gotta love the fact that even though moji is a chamo that has been around since years now, since practically no one played her and she was hardely seen in few matches, this rework does really feel like a full fledged champion.Though some players will be dissatisfied with the rework, this changed is for the better. The vast majority of the community will enjoy her more now.

It's definitely a good rework but Moji has been unplayable for years now and Hirez promised her rework long long ago. I don't have an issue with the rework, I'm just kinda disappointed about how much it took them to release it.

I'm not so sure. I suspect her play rate will remain largely the same. She still doesn't seem particularly viable compared to the best champions of her class, and her gameplay is less engaging. I'd figure that after about two weeks, she's still going to be one of the least-picked champions in the game.

I think it would be cool if there was a way to decide which class to play as for moji, maybe something like how Octavia can pick one of her passives. Never played her myself (and personally found her to be rather annoying), but given the amount of dissatisfied moji mains, I think it could be cool.

8:10 The issue isn't that you are less mobile, because you're right, you are more mobile now with new scamper. The issue old Moji players seem to have is that they think bunny hopping is this super skillful never-before-seen tech only Moji has. They are trying to gatekeep a tech that's been in shooters for forever, and don't want people to have it easier basically. Literally exactly what someone told me on the Paladins subr when I pointed out to them that there's no need for bunnyhopping. It's actually mindboggling the kind of stuff people will gatekeep just for the hell of it

You can still bunnyhop with the new scamper though, right? Just cancel early and proceed as before? And it won't be pointless because you can fire and and use abilities while maintaining the extra speed (imo the strongest aspect of bunnyhop), which you can't do while scampering.

the thing is that bunny hopping let you change direction on the fly, shoot, barrier and ult while moving faster than a mount while on a flat or downhill surface with a shorter duration on inclines. I feel that the infinite duration kinda dumbed down scamper to being worse but easier to pick up and use.

For me personally, this patch killed the game, I considered and consider moji to be one of the best in terms of game character design, among many other projects and, in fact, this game. They deleted it to give a little hype to the game, I don't dispute that the heal probably came out quite well. But it was done at too great a price for me, I really was in love with this character, really.

I do like the idea of supports providing shields as it does directly impact tanks too. Interesting changes overall. Kinda think mojo should get two dashes, rei heal goes through walls not two and Lilith not a clue.

I really hope this is turned into an echo champion and doesn't replace Moji. She's a lot of fun as a flank and most of what I like about her is just straight up gone with this, it would be really depressing if they actually go through with these changes :/

To be honest, removing Moji from flank was the best decision since her kit was clunky and unfit for flank. The kit was so poorly designed that the champion could either be overturned or straight up trash which has been the case for the past 2-3 years

@@ranzu3138there was literally nothing extra to give Moji without either making her broken or killing her identity as a flank anyway. Her dps is/was already through the roof, she already has an execute ultimate, she has/had a full invincibility ability. Only things you could do was boost her range which would stop her being Moji and turn her into another long range spammer or rework her Scamper into a more useful mobility effect but that would be taking away her most unique ability to turn it into some boring dash. I wish there was a talent to keep her magic marks for dps but so far I’m very pleased with what they did to her kit to make it serviceable without sacrificing too much of what makes Moji, Moji. Pretty much everything besides Magic Barrier is still there in one way or another.

@@dungeaterfancam Her dps was dependant on building up marks, shields easily negate that. Her ultimate is unreliable, very risky and can be easily wasted. Magic Barrier lasts 2 seconds and the moment it drops she's a huge target. They could've given her 2 charges of scamper, improve her ultimate, turn tooth into a proper support talent, give her a talent that gave her some sort of vertical mobility, maybe increase her health to 2300 like buck, and a lot of other quality of life changes. See what works, what doesn't and adjust accordingly. There's a lot that could've been done to make her better without making her broken and maintaining her flank identity.

I actually think that if they will balance Moji revork a little, it can work quite well. Also, I really like the idea of giving support more ultity, but I think that they can go crazier than movment speed and shields, even tho its better than nothing i guess.

Infinite movement ability for a healer doesn't really fit with the game at all. Jenos can glide I guess but it isn't a sprint.

How does it not fit exactly? She is literally defenseless against flanks, giant hit box, low DPS, no magic barrier or protection against stuns or cc in general, she is a cookie for flanks ironically.

@@AllYourConcerns remember when Lex had 90% dr and no other character did? So now it's down to like 40 which is in line with other dr abilities? All the healers can use an ability for a few seconds, teleport, glide, transcend the mortal plain, TEMPORARILY. Moji can just sprint infinitely? And I think I read someone say at top speed it's like master riding two? Point being is it's unique but most unique things in the game get set back in line with the other characters. Buff her health, limit the scamper. It'll happen eventually I'd bet.

Now, moji, who can heal shields at is a character who can practically ignore anti-healing! Think of it as a character that can heal with weapons. I think grohk is still good, but if you want to use pip, I think moji is better. I think the only thing he is better at is giving range slow, but with the number of characters with powerful CC increasing, I think pip is losing his identity. How about reworking him to flank or damage? I don't think pip is commensurate with the skills required.

My impression was always that she was meant to be a bulky flank with really good self sustain who uses her bulk + sustain to get in close and enter/exit engagements, but it never really worked out that way because snack attack was bugged. Which in case you didn't know, snack attack dropping health packs when teammates get elims was a bug, it was supposed to be only when she got an elim but of course they never fixed it. Edit: Also, I as someone who plays a lot of healers as well, think that the moji rework is kind of a slap in the face to other supports that need reworks more. Like ffs how long has corvus teleport been bugged? Years at this point? I understand that this game was built on a potato and the code is like spaghetti, but if that's the case, why don't they just give him a new movement ability? Why does he have to have the same buggy ass ability that doesn't even work half the time, AND half the time when it DOES work, you fall through the map -_-
