Ay, finally a tierlist. Tea Pro seems like a perfect all-rounder - very good for music and seems very good for gaming too. Tho, comparing the graphs, Arete doesn't seem far off and you save 100$+ for what some may consider "diminishing returns".

I figured the Arete is better for gaming simply because it has the most BA. When I went from the Simgot EM6L which is 1DD 4BA to the Xenns Top which is 1DD 8BA the separation and layering was like night and day. The Arcadia is probably tuned closer to my preference for music but for gaming 2BA just doesn't cut it.

Great video man! But I need some help on deciding between headphones if that’s okay. I can’t decide whether to spend the extra money to get either - DT 990 or 770 Pro (80ohm), or the Senheisser 560s. Or do I just go cheap and get the Senheisser 599? I have a very large head so comfort is very important aha.

Great review of the new sets. Appreciate the graph comparison. As I have the Doscincos and Estrellas, I wouldn’t be interested in these but I like what Ziigaat are doing tuning wise, though their now overloaded in the $200-$300 price range and very absent in the $300-$1500 range. It’s confusing to me. Why saturate the same market with 6 iems? (Arcadia, Odyssey, Arete, Cincotres, Doscincos, Estrellas). If they would have come out with the Arcadia as 2DD 2BA 2 EST for $500, it would’ve made more sense, filled a void and sold very well. It’s a mini Jupiter dropped in their same market competing with themselves. If they do make that iem, I’m first in line and that could be many basshead’s end game. Just keep the bass deep and don’t forget the mid bass.

The odyssey is a more compelling purchase for music. Just smooth killer set. If you are playing cod I’d go odyssey. If you’re playing apex could go either way. The odyssey to me has been a great listen

Fun review! What do you think of BO6? I’ve been playing on with Harmonicdyne Zeus Elite via the steel series gamedac2. I’ve been having a hard time hearing a lot of stuff so I’m gonna try extracting optical from the HDMI into my topping dx3pro+ and see if that helps. If not, I’m thinking of upgrading to the HD490 pro. Are you going to add a tab for headphone tier-list in your spreadsheet?

Gamedac probably doesn't cut it. It's meant for the nova pros mainly, I'd rather use a qudelix 5k or something.

@@Hijynx87 the quidlix does not work with Xbox unless you extract optical audio. And if I’m doing that I might as well utilize my topping DX3 pro+. After testing, using the topping DX3 pro+ via optical is a real pain in the ass when it comes to joining discord voice lobbies via Xbox. Ideal world would be that there is a better DAC out there with the required Xbox chip so I can plug in via USB.

I love the mangird tea pro as an all rounder (for me). Depends if you like things a little warm though. Also depends on your budget! I like a little warmth for those things as opposed to things more reference like just because I want to relax. The fa19 and even the hbb punch (punch if you like a TON of low end) are dope for just chilling.

Ziigaat needs better eartips, the stock yellow tips are garbo. They make the doscinco sound pretty mid, divinus widebores or feaule h570 are great for ziigaat iems.

@@rayden0073 Dawn pro should be just fine, if you really want a good desktop dac/amp the smsl raw mda1 is very solid since you can use with speakers, iems, headphones, etc if you plan on getting some later on. But like I said the dawn pro pairs nicely with the tea pros in my opinion (im not an audiophile by any means) I mainly use my iems for gaming and music.
