When I was a kid, German helmets sold for 50 shillings in the Exchange & Mart!

Same as in Canada. British, Canadian and American helmets in good shape sold for about $10, German sold for $15. I should have bought them all.

The variation of color in the helmets is interesting. With such a focus on uniforms I would have thought helmet colors would have been exact

I sometimes wonder about stacking such things on top one another. I'm sure you sat them there gently ha. I love Wittman but he sometimes bams those daggers together, almost hurts my feelings lol

As in most navies, like evening jackets; White for Summer, Navy Blue for Winter. I remember when I was a child, I always wanted a WWII German helmet. My uncle, who lived in Belgium at the time, gave me a camouflage green and field grey helmet. I thought someone had sprayed graffiti on it, because it didn't look like the helmets on Hogan's Heroes. I re-painted it.Sad.

thats a great collection of helmets there! thats how german helmets should look after 80+ years. I live in america and i agree with you that helmets are getting very hard to find. thanks for showing.

I know you've gotten tomatoes thrown your way on prices, and honesty....Prices aren't any higher really than any other dealer. If certainly prices have exceeded what the items are truly worth, it'd be unjust to solely scorn regimentals...same prices that i can see.
