Hey Chris, just watched your 50s install on an HJC I-90 helmet which I have an exact flat black copy myself. I really like the way you installed and what impressed me was we must think alike because a lot of the tricks and tips that you showed I've used already on installing a packtalk bold on my I-90. However seeing your install I'm probably going to buy the 50s and put it on my I-90. Thanks again for showing us the tips how to do it effectively.

I figured that helmet was a high dollar one . Man the price of it is not bad. Thanks for the video. Be safe out there.

This video helped out a lot. 👍🏽 Just ordered a i90 today. If it works out I’ll get the Sena to pair with it.

Chris, Thank you Brother for this excellent video. I have both of the same units and have never installed things like these. Hell I was afraid for take the liners out of the helmet lol Now I'm ready to be a Sena 50 WARRIOR thanks to you! Lol Again, excellent video! If you do another one please show all items in the box because mine has a bunch of items left over , and I'm sure others, as well as myself, would like to know about these and if they are needed at a later time. Also on any future videos would you please show how to pair these units, as the instructions are not very good. Stay well Stay safe Enjoy the rising season , and keep the great videos coming my brother 👊🏾👊🏾

Good info thanks, exactly what I needed to know before purchasing my com system. I am not sold on proprietary systems because my next helmet may be different brand and I don't see the point of dropping another $400 on average each time I change helmets.

I'm thinking of purchasing a Sena 50, my cardo doesn't always connect via Bluetooth, it's starting to irritate me. Good review Chris 👌🏾👍🏽

If you ride with bikers that have the Sena 30k, the Sena 20s or any regular bluetooth or would like to talk via the CB radio on the Goldwings before 2018, I would buy the Sena 50 because it connects easily to a maxium of 4 none branded headsets. If all of the bikers has Sena 50s, then no pairing is needed, just put the Sena 50s on Mesh channel 1-10 for an ulimited amout of riders. If all of the riders has Sena 50s you can still bring in other regular bluetooth headsets with the exception of Cardo. Cardo needs to connect only to Cardo for best performance but you max out at 15 riders with no individual options to delete a rider who takes up a slot even though they are not on the ride. With Cardo you have to start a new group pairing or delete the whole group and start over which is a big problem.

Planning on same setup. Would you recommend speaker spacers for this helmet?

I never use speaker spacers.

What's your opinion about this helmets ?

fyi, 50s. will only connect to Sena 20s's up to 3 other devices. If you are riding in a group with other 20s riders, they will not support mesh and will only connect blue tooth intercom mode. They do not allow cross connect into the mesh side either. To go with other mesh riders, the 20s users have to either purchase 30s and higher or purchase the Bluetooth 2 Mesh (B2M) adapter for another 119.00 … per headset. Ran into this issue where friends of ours purchased 3 each 20s EVO's (new less than 6 months old) and we can only connect 3 of the 4 riders to ours. We could never get the 4th rider connected. (Total of 5 Sena's .. 2 50s and 3 20s) Even with the 20s supporting up to 8 blue tooth intercoms, with the 50s would show but not connect to them in the group. It would crash their app after 2 50s showed in their list.. If Sena would do an upgrade path for the 20's to either 30s or new spider ST units would be an option but having to purchase $120 adapter is over the top for already expensive set of headsets. Had they known, they'd would have purchased the 30s instead of the 20evo. The 50s will only support 3 other riders in the older bluetooth mode. And is not backward compatible with the 20s blue tooth mode either supporting 8 riders.

To keep things simple, everyone in the group should have the same headset, mixing and matching can be troublesome.
@bingbing25152 жыл бұрын
I dont get why everyone is still using Bluetooth intercom, mesh is so much more reliable and simple to set up.
@Fireball18002 жыл бұрын
@@bingbing2515 true but Sena 20s eVO is still being sold. These do not have Mesh.
@cyclechris65912 жыл бұрын
This is not a cheap hobby. 20s evo is more than 5 yo tech. 50s is sweet, voice control works usually and open mesh is so easy

Wish they had better technology and come out with wireless speakers👍👍
